I've spent time this year using both @EducEndowFoundn & @rs_network guidance to support the use of manipulatives in key stage 1 & 2. We have seen how making understanding concrete is equipping children with strategies beyond calculating and into problem-solvers. @gareth_metcalfe
Year 2 were able to make connections between their multiples of 5, halve amounts and time this week. Hearing their 'sense-making' conversations and mathematical thinking was a wonderful way to develop a deeper understanding of telling the time. @BSAKyear2

Ali (year 12), volunteered in medical camps run by Midland Doctors Medical Institute in various orphanages in the Pakistan. Setting up medical camps in SOS Orphanage and Bait-ul-Mal in Muzaffarabad. Ali helped to provide medication and medical check ups on hundreds of orphans.
Congratulations to the children who competed in the Primary Maths Challenge last month. A special mention for those who achieved the Gold Award. Well done to them all! #BSAKPrimaryMaths #BSAKCelebrates
