The new Trust Primary Council met at the central offices in Winterbourne where they met Wally, the Trust dog. After a successful meeting setting their goals for the year, the councillors were shown around the offices meeting key people including, Mr Overton, Director of Primary.

The new Primary Trust Council recently held their first meeting at Stoke Lodge Primary School and are raring to go for the year. The council is made up of two Y5 learners from across all of our Primary settings.

Our Primary Trust Council, made up of 2 reps from each Primary, gave a presentation at the Primary Heads meeting today inc our Director of Primary and two Trustees. They have grown in confidence and maturity over the year and are a great example of our Trust values.

Fortunately we are tied into fixed tariffs for 10 out of 11 schools until Sep 23. We asked our energy broker for a price for the 11th and have been quoted a 415% increase today. For @olympustrust that would represent £4.6 million annually rather than current £900k - impossible! – at Bristol, England

Schools need to be given an energy price cap now​ - that's the call from headteachers across the country. The government has warned schools in England not to send children home to save on energy costs this winter. But with the start of term imminent, schools want action now.
