Happy 152nd Birthday to us!
Where it all began on October 5th 1870. I wonder what they would think of Battlestead Croft and how much Burton RFC has grown in those years?

@BTPLondon officers stopped a man acting suspiciously & caught him when he bolted. Found to have a knife in his pocket and a cocked firearm in his rucksack.
@BTPFirearmsUnit attended and made the blank firing pistol safe, with @BTPOSU searching his home.
A great team effort 💪

Policing needs to look more widely that just armed policing. Surveillance teams have similar issues - lots of training, long unpredictable hours. We need to think widely about how we increase representation across all our specialist teams & beyond #wecops

Sgt Matt Ratana made the UK his home and he served the communities of London for the majority of his career. He was always a New Zealander and also served the people in his country of birth with @nzpolice.
Take the time to watch and listen to this incredible tribute to him.
