I hope everyone listened carefully to what Peter Obi said! He made it clear that if he doesn’t win the 2027 election, he won’t be contesting for the presidency again. At 65, he cannot keep running for president indefinitely. By the next election cycle, he’ll be approaching 70, an age when he should be enjoying his retirement rather than starting another political battle.
This is why we cannot afford to take 2027 for granted. We still have a chance to change the direction of this country, and we must treat this election as if our lives depend on it, because to a large extent, they do.
If we waste this opportunity with Peter Obi, we may never get another chance like this again. Wake up, Nigerians! 2027 is our moment, and we cannot afford to get it wrong!

I think what makes this story more depressing & alarming than him being an “American Idol alum” is that Caleb Flynn was a worship pastor.
And despite having a wife & two children, something many men long for, Flynn decided he wanted more than what God gave him.
He started having an affair with a woman at his church. Text messages show that they became obsessed with each other, & Flynn began to despise his wife.
But despite hating his wife, Flynn refused to divorce her because he didn’t want to lose his kids, his reputation, nor his job (his father-in-law gave him a job working for him). But his affair partner would not keep seeing him unless they divorced, so he decided to murder his wife.
It’s a devastating reminder of what sin takes from us. Caleb went from lust, to betrayal, to adultery, to murder.
And now his wife is dead. His children are without both parents. His affair partner has been exposed and her life is ruined. And of course, Caleb ruined his own life.
“Sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

🛡🗡 Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. These are Igbo women in the 60s holding a meeting, discussing about their own affairs.
As a man, you dare not involved in this gathering, no matter your influence or affluence.
The Umuada group still plays a significant role in Igboland.
We have always loved and respected our women. I don’t know why this generation wants to change the narrative. It saddens me when is see some misinformation about how they are being maltreated.
I wish most of you would visit home regularly and spend time with your people.

Scripture's authority and the Church's authority are inseparable. I don't mean any particular person or group in the Church.
Under Catholicism - the Church - i.e., the congregation of people, clergy, the liturgies, and the infusion of Grace from the Holy Spirit - together constitute the Body of Christ. You can imagine that Christ's body on Earth = Congregation of the Faithful, Clergy, Written Canon (where Scripture is a part) is analogous to one biological organism.
It makes no sense to ask which part of that organism has the highest authority. Is it canon law? Is it the catechism? Is it clergy? Is it the will of the congregation? Is it canonized scripture?
NO it is the Holy Spirit, the Father, and Jesus Christ - in other words, God himself. The Holy Trinity has the highest authority.
It just happens that God's Will and Authority are infused and permeate Scripture (his word) and the individual men of the Congregation (through their conscience, through his invisible Grace) - and through revelation and the ministry of Priests and Bishops who dispense his visible Grace through the Sacraments.
I TOTALLY understand the Protestant urge for Sola Scriptura ... because Men are corruptible and fallible. For every time we defeat Goliath, we also fall for a Bathsheba. Sola Scriptura is in fact saying "Listen to your conscience, guided by the canonized, immutable words of God and let no Clergy or men in fancy Robes override God's voice"
That is my steelman argument for Sola Scriptura.
However, Sola Scriptura falls apart into a thousand pieces if you analyze it on empirical and logical grounds.
Mainly: if you trust the Church Council, early Church Fathers, and the Testimony of Paul, James, and John, etc., that they were somehow guided by the Holy Spirit to write down the true Gospel and choose the correct corpus for the Old Testament, then why do you say their judgment is totally off on things like Apostolic authority, Marian Dogma, and, most importantly, the Real Presence?
You have to declare an unfalsifiable miracle by fiat: that the written Gospel and the men who selected it were guided by the Holy Spirit to ONLY canonize scripture (except for the ones that Martin Luther later decided to remove - not just Deuterocanonical but also James) ... and these supposedly Holy men went right back into grave error in all other earthly ministry and sermons.

The Episcopal and Anglican Church is the strongest evidence we have that the Catholic Church is the one true Church guided by the Holy Spirit.
Five hundred years after Henry VIII split the Church of England from the line of apostolic succession, not because of any theological difference but for political convenience, we see the result of the same tradition lacking guidance from the Holy See.
What do we notice about the Catholic Church in the meantime? There are plenty of moral failings, scandals, and even bad popes. Yet the Faith remains steadfast to the Truth and continues to be a vessel for Christ’s light in the world.
The biggest controversy in Catholicism is whether SSPX ordination of Bishops without Papal mandate constitutes a schismatic act. Whereas in the Anglican line, apparently, they are debating whether God is transgender.

I agree we should be our authentic selves at all time but we also need to accept that some ladies are genuinely good girls and do not desire to be baddies, not because they want to please men but because it’s in their nature to be so. Often times, good girls are seen as performative which is not always the case.

All of Scandinavia was Christianized by 12th/13th centuries.

The first ever tarmac (tarred) road in Anam was built by Peter Obi.
He was also with us during the cataclysmic flood, wading through the floodwater, feeling our pain.
Unquestionably, Peter Obi is the best governor in the history of Anambra state
“Ask him, since he has been in politics, what has he brought for the Igbos?”
— Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The Anambra State governor called on Ndi Igbo to assess the contributions of political leaders to the region, pointing to longstanding challenges such as erosion and infrastructure deficits. He argued that voters should focus on results and development rather than emotions during election seasons.
Soludo also said that 2027 would be different, expressing confidence that the South-East would secure greater benefits through its political choices.
