Waiting for @iga_swiatek's new season is an indescribable torment. 😉 Out of boredom, I’ve been rewatching her old matches. I’ve picked out a few exceptionally beautiful passing shots for you - take a look, it’s nothing short of pure poetry. ⬇️

I just have a question. If a player said they don't want to have a picture with Americans, would WTA accept the demand like they did here or go ahead with 7 players in potraits?
WTA is doing portraits celebrating "individuality," presumably rather than a group photo at this year's WTA Finals. A group photo would've been off the table because of Svitolina's longstanding refusal to pose for photos with Russians or Belarusians since the invasion began.

Pegula is mentally fragile in toughest moments. We have seen it multiple times over the years
Disagree, Pegula pretty much maximizes her mental and physical abilities, she is just outgunned and that’s why she hasn’t won a slam. You don’t see her mentally fall apart or go out and have low confidence in her shots.

Svitolina is sponsored by Palantir. Doesn’t seem like she cares much either about innocent people getting killed either.
yall being more concerned about the stupid ass group photo than about people being slaughtered every damn day. genuinely go to hell. she’s sooooo real for ruining it for yall

We've seen many legends come and come go. Many may end up far more successful. But I still believe there's nobody more clutch than Carlos Alcaraz.

The most dominant serve performance in the last 3 decades of slam tennis 😭

Opponent huffing and puffing, stretched corner to corner while she floats effortlessly reaching every shot, making it look ridiculously easy. It just feels unfair sometimes. 🐐🐐
She makes defending look magnificent. Look at the shot while backtracking... goodness.🏸

He is a better player than Rafa on every surface except Clay. Records will show that in future unless injuries hinder him just like Rafa.
I have a question for Rafa fans . If Carlos Alcaraz wins nitto is he a better player than Rafa on indoor ??

Alcaraz-2022 -19 yr old -2nd yr on tour -became youngest no. 1 -Beat Rafa, Novac & Zevrev -became youngest player to defeat World no. 1 -only player to defeat Nadal and novac back to back on clay. -Beat top 3 seeds to win title. Zevrev barely managed 3 top 10 wins whole year
If Alexander Zverev was “Lucky” to be World No.1 for the first time in his career on November 02, 2026, Carlos Alcaraz was “Double Lucky” to be on top of the ATP Rankings on September 12, 2022 to become the youngest No.1 in tennis history after winning his first Major, the US Open that year. Even after Rafa Nadal won his last and 22nd Slam title, the 2022 French Open, Novak Djokovic was at No.1 in ATP Rankings with 8770 points on June 06, 2022. Daniil Mevedv was at No.2 with 8160 points, Zverev was at No.3 with 7795 points, and Nadal was at No.4 with 7525 points. Alcaraz was way down at No.7 with only 5005 points. Zverev would have become No.1 in the world much earlier but for the terrible ankle injury he suffered during his semi-final match against Rafa at FO 2022, that forced him to retire hurt after the first set. He was just two match wins away from being Ranked No.1 in ATP then itself. Due to that injury, the German was forced to sit out for the rest of season, till he played at AO 2023. Novak had an entry ban to North American Continent throughout the year 2022. Plus, he was not allowed to defend 2000 points for the Wimbledon title he won in July that year. In the case of Novak, both were NOT for “tennis reasons” or NOT even due to any injury. Those two happenings to Zverev and Djokovic helped Carlos to become the No.1 player for the first time in his career on September 12, 2022 with the least ATP ranking points of 6,740 since Roger Federer rose to No.1 on February 02, 2004.! But for those unfortunate incidents, either Zverev or Djokovic would have been the No.1 even if Carlos won the 2022 US Open as the young Spaniard could add only 40 points to his tally by 2022 Year-End. After winning the Australian Open, Djokovic regained his No.1 position on January 23, 2023 with 7,070 points – 340 points ahead of Alcaraz. With @DjokerNole winning 3 Majors, he ended the year 2023 at No.1 with 11,245 points – leading by a huge margin of 2,390 points over Alcaraz. The Serbian continued to be No.1 till June 10, 2024, the date on which Jannik Sinner rose to No.1 in ATP rankings for the first time with 9,535 points - a lead of 945 points over the No.2 Spaniard with 8,580. Alcaraz could regain his No.1 rankings from Sinner only after 65 weeks from there on September 08, 2025. By that time, the Spaniard was 22 Years, 4 Months, and 106 Days old.! Lleyton Hewitt at 20 y 8m 23 d would have remained as the youngest No.1 player in Men’s tennis even now. None of the tennis “experts”, commentators or the media said Alcaraz was lucky to become the No.1 player then. On the contrary, they went over-board, claiming the “Future” GOAT was here and a new “Alcaraz Era” has started.! How RIDICULOUS that was. Now, when Zverev became No.1 for the first time in his career, the same people are saying the German was ‘lucky’. The same Alcaraz is at No.3 in ATP rankings on November 02, 2026 – that is 3,450 ATP points BEHIND the new World No.1 Zverev. That’s KARMA. It hits back at anyone for indulging in bad deeds, or even for carrying ‘evil’ thoughts in their minds like finding pleasure in the failure of others🙏🙏

Never had it easy. Path to greatness was never on steps of cakewalk draws.
🚨 Carlos Alcaraz wins by walkover for the first time in his professional tennis career. Get well soon, Matteo! ❤️‍🩹🤝 #RolexParisMasters

First of all, this conversation should have never been recorded. it's blatant invasion of privacy of players. Secondly, Pegula is talking about Mirra's temper and she is 100% right. love her but she loses her cool far too often. A GS win doesn't change that.
“Pegula” trying to talk about mentality about GS champion Mirra Andreeva?😹

it's a non- issue. we all have opinions, even about our colleagues. why can't Pegula have some? its not like she was the one broadcasting it to world.

also, agree with Pegula about Coco- Mirra comment. if Andreeva had the mental strength of coco, she would be the better player, simply because she has physical advantage and better technique at 16-17 than coco

Love that thing Alcaraz does in tiebreaks sometimes when he decides he’s not gonna lose them and there’s nothing anyone can do about it
