Jalen Hurts is not an elite playoff riser. He isn't clutch, and he isn't the reason the Eagles have had success. He's a game manager.
He's never won a playoff game in which the team falls behind by more than 3 points. In fact, he's overcome a grand total of 4 points in deficits across SIX wins.
Evidence Below:
01/16/2022: Loss to TB 15 - 31
01/21/2023: Won vs NYG 38 - 7, never trailed
01/28/2023: Won vs SF 31 - 7, never trailed
02/12/2023: Lost vs KC 38 - 35
01/16/2024: Lost to TB 9 - 32
01/12/2025: Won vs GB 10 - 22, never trailed
01/19/2025: Won vs LAR 22 - 28, overcame 1-pt deficit
01/27/2025: Won vs WAS 23 - 55, overcame 3-pt deficit
02/09/2025: Won vs KC 22-40, never trailed
01/11/2026: Lost vs SF 23 - 19
The Eagles & the Rams are stunningly similar:
Both over-hyped all summer, only to fail terribly. These Rams mirror the 2011 Eagles (both offseason super teams that flopped). Both teams won SBs recently after losing to legendary AFC QB/Coach duos. Both wish Dak were their QB rn.
Hot Take: The NFC East can be won with just 5 wins.
And for the remainder of the season, I will be rooting for this exact thing to happen. Fuck em. These teams deserve maximum embarrassment.
Anybody who knows the Cowboys knew this was going to be the result. Everybody else lost (or presumably will lose in the Commanders), and it occurs on a night most of us knew was gonna be a terrible loss months ago. As such, I call this week a win for us.
Yet Eagles fans have tried to convince us this entire time that he carries their team😂
The Eagles do not win off of QB play—they win close, off the back of the defense. Jalen Hurts has never been the reason Philly wins games, & this year's results are due to defensive struggles.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Great news Eagles fans⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's like Jalen never left! This is almost exactly what "GIDBAM" managed on a weekly basis. You guys didn't lose today because Jalen Hurts was out, you lost because the defense couldn't keep a lid on Bryce Young's Panthers.
To add to this, 4 of Dak's 5 playoff losses have come against Green Bay or San Fran. His issue isn't meeting the moment, it's two franchises that have had our number. His playoff record when not facing those two teams is 2-1.
1-5-1 against Green Bay since Dak rookie year. For some strange reason we can’t seem to beat two team in big games, the packers or 49ers. I’m not even nervous to be honest with you. I would love to see us win but o wouldn’t be surprised if we lost 🤷🏿♂️
You know how every year when the schedule is released and you predict how many games we’ll win and we automatically put a W on the commanders or giants game? That’s how the 49ers and Packers look at us 😂
Is it JPJ's plan to literally just tank his entire career?
If so, then I guess he got us good! However, I doubt that this is the case. Not worth it at all, especially at the peak of his powers.
WELL TURNS OUT I WAS GODDAMN RIGHT...just a little early 😭
There is zero reason that Milton should not have been on the roster.
"Anyone" generally means other starters and not players that are actually even worse than Jalen. This kind of angle is so dishonest it's absurd.
The "anyone can be QB for the Eagles and win" theory gets to be tested out now. I hope yall idiots are happy now.

I hate the fuck outta all things Philly, but even I felt kinda bad for the way things played out for Wentz. It won't happen, but it would make for one hell of a redemption story.
It doesn't matter who the Eagles have at QB. That's not how they win games. They win off of defense, so I don't expect Jalen's absence to matter much.
Blood clots are no joke. I lost my mother to one (also from the leg area) in early 2018. Can't fuck around with these. He shouldn't return until they're certain it's completely gone. Not worth it, especially for a season that already looks doomed.
Breaking: #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.
Full statement from the #Eagles on QB Jalen Hurts:
“On Thursday, October 8th, Jalen visited the training room after practice requesting treatment for his calf. He informed the medical staff he had been cleated during the Rams game on October 4th. This was his first treatment session for the calf injury following the game, after having practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Jalen received treatment, practiced in full, and was added to the practice report.
“Out of an abundance of caution, an ultrasound was performed on Saturday following the team’s flight to London and walkthrough. The ultrasound revealed a superficial blood clot. Our medical staff and doctors in London reviewed the results and concluded that activity and mobility were important and that Jalen could safely play. Doctors recommended a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the return flight to Philadelphia.
“Jalen played without limitation in the game Sunday, received treatment on Monday and Tuesday, and practiced in full on Wednesday, as reflected in the practice report. Throughout our time in London and this week, we have remained in communication with the league office regarding the matter.
"On Wednesday night, a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in the small blood clot. Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment. His health and safety are our highest priority.”
