💔🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF JACK EVANS 🕊️💔
Forever a Dawley lad. Forever in our hearts. ❤️
This Saturday, Dawley Town Football Club will come together as one family to remember and pay our respects to Jack Evans, who tragically passed away last week.
Jack was a proud Dawley lad, a familiar face to so many in our community and a friend to many of our players, particularly Dan Beddows.
His passing has left a huge hole in the lives of those who knew and loved him, and our entire football club is deeply saddened by his loss.
But above all else, Jack was a dad.
A loving father to Scarlett, Jacob, Teddy and Sienna, four children who will forever carry their dad’s love and memory with them.
Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with Jack’s children, their mothers Louise and Laura, his family, friends and everyone whose life he touched.
❤️ THIS SATURDAY – TOGETHER FOR JACK ❤️
As a mark of respect, Jack’s four children will have the honour of walking onto the pitch alongside our players before kick-off.
We ask everyone attending the game, players, officials and supporters alike, to join us in observing a minute’s silence in Jack’s memory.
There will also be a collection bucket at the entrance, with all donations going directly towards supporting Jack’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
Whatever you can spare, however big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
🖤 MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH – YOU ARE NEVER ALONE 🖤
Jack’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of just how precious life is and how important it is that we look out for one another.
As a football club, we want to use this opportunity to encourage men everywhere to talk, to reach out and to know that asking for help is a sign of strength, never weakness.
Whether it’s a teammate, a friend, a family member or someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, sometimes the simplest conversation can make the biggest difference.
If you’re struggling, please reach out. There are people who care and people who will listen.

⚽ MORE THAN A FOOTBALL CLUB. WE ARE A COMMUNITY.
Football brings people together, but moments like this remind us that some things are far more important than the result on a Saturday afternoon.
This weekend isn’t about football.
It’s about Jack. It’s about his children. It’s about his family. And it’s about a community standing together when it matters most.
Rest easy, Jack. 🕊️
Once a Dawley lad, always a Dawley lad. ❤️
From everyone at Dawley Town Football Club.
Up the Jockeys. For Jack. 🩷🩵

And finally, Jack Hodnett’s winner in the 87th minute
#scenes
Faced a lot of shit the last 3 weeks, people begging for us to fuck up so they can take pop shots, I see you all 👀 the laughing emojis, the sly digs, a lot of jealous bitter people out there. Rome wasn’t built in a day, this is a project which will take time, today is one win, nothing more, but character and that coach journey home means more than any 3pts. Unbelievable scenes, we go again next Saturday
