ESPN’s NBA commentary is painfully boring. Easily the worst broadcast team in the league. How did TNT let this happen?
Hey @espn, how about highlighting the actual stars on the Dream? Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray deserve some love. Maybe give the spotlight to the players who are actually getting it done on the court.
The Atlanta Dream are shooting 53% as a team despite Angel Reese shooting an awful 25%. If you think Angel Reese is a good basketball player, I’m convinced you aren’t actually watching the games.
The WNBA Finals might get better viewership at 12:30 PM than in primetime competing with the NFL and NBA. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about.
Amen Thompson is SPECIAL on the defensive end. That block to save the game for the Houston Rockets was absolutely INCREDIBLE
Politicians want to talk about sports, but we’ve got people getting paid $40 million a year to do exactly that. They make up whatever narrative fits their agenda, and y’all just believe it without questioning a thing.
If you're Chicago, you simply CANNOT let that happen. But credit where it's due, incredible field vision by Stevenson to recognize that opportunity. What a play!
I think a lot of NBA fans outside of Philadelphia are secretly rooting for Cleveland to beat the Sixers. Deep down, they still believe LeBron should’ve gone back home to Cleveland to chase another championship instead of going to Philly.
All the talking and yapping between NBA players last night? I LOVED IT. We need more of that in the NBA. We’ve missed that competitive fire. Forget trying to be everybody’s friend. Talk your trash, get under their skin, and go straight for the throat on the court. THAT’S BASKETBALL.
Has he ever actually watched an NBA game? He’s about to lose a LOT of respect for some of these players this season. The reality of the NBA hits different when you actually sit down and watch the games.
Yaxel Lendeborg on Luka Doncic:
"I had a lot of respect for him ... but being in there first hand, watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect for him."

The algorithm can be a GOOD thing, too. It helps expand your audience. Someone who has never heard of you might see one of your clips, like what you have to say, and hit that follow button. I understand the negatives, but you have to acknowledge the positives, too. There’s two sides to it.

I honestly can’t name another player making $36 million a year who gives you so little offensively. Rudy Gobert’s contract is a massive problem for Minnesota.
ESPN literally has ONE job, and they can’t even get that right. How do you lose audio for FIVE STRAIGHT MINUTES? Stop paying these overpaid bums more than they’re worth and start investing in people who can actually do the job. This is embarrassing.
LeBron is more worried about arguing with fans in the stands than focusing on the game. Are we serious right now? Has the NBA gotten THIS soft? You’re one of the greatest players ever, and you’re letting people in the crowd get under your skin?
This Knicks team is TENACIOUS on defense. You gotta love it! Physical, aggressive, and making every possession a battle. You don’t see many teams playing defense like this anymore.
Celtics fans have to be sitting there asking themselves after this game: DID WE TRADE THE WRONG GUY?
That second half from Jayson Tatum was flat-out atrocious.
It really does suck for Ben Simmons. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing how he would make his return and whether he could get his career back on track. Now the question is, will we ever see him return to the NBA?
