Selling gold to raise cash is a strange way to act on your belief in gold.
@strato_net offers a different approach.
With GOLDST and SILVST backed by physical metals, you can use supported collateral to mint USDST, then spend, save, or trade it while maintaining your exposure to gold or silver.
One metric that caught my attention is the loan activity. According to the campaign’s DefiLlama snapshot, Strato has around $4.69M in active loans.
Deposits show that people are parking assets. Loans show that people are actually putting those assets to work.
Of course, borrowing isn’t free money. USDST loans come with fees, and if your collateral drops below the required threshold, your position could be liquidated. DYOR.
The team has been building Ethereum infrastructure since 2014, with Joe Lubin as an advisor.

Verifying web data matters but so does holding the verifiers accountable.
That’s what caught my attention about @primus_labs
its approach combines TEE attestation with a planned penalty mechanism for attestors who break the rules.
The design still has important questions to answer:
- What qualifies as misconduct?
- How can violations be independently proven?
- What consequences do dishonest operators face?
- Are the penalties enough to deter them?
