4/ Through Zano’s Confidential Layer, Bitcoin can now exist privately as BTCx. Same Bitcoin value, but with confidential and untraceable transactions powered by Zano’s privacy infrastructure. Today, you can buy pizza with private Bitcoin. 🍕

3️⃣ The Zano Lite Wallet BETA is now live 🔥 One of the biggest barriers to using privacy blockchains has always been syncing the full blockchain first. Now users can: • Connect to remote nodes • Skip full sync • Start using Zano instantly • Access desktop privacy with a lightweight experience This is honestly massive for onboarding, especially in regions with poor internet access. Full node wallets matter for decentralization. Lite wallets matter for adoption. Now Zano has both.

The Zano Lite wallet BETA is live 🔥 The biggest barrier to trying any privacy blockchain has always been the same: sync the full blockchain, wait hours, and only then can you start using it. The Zano Lite wallet connects to a remote node instead of running a full node. No full blockchain sync. No technical setup. The same mobile wallet experience, now on desktop. What you get: 🔹 Connect to a remote node and skip the full sync 🔹 Full privacy-by-default on every transaction 🔹 Send, receive, and manage your assets 🔹 Zano Companion extension support built in 🔹 Available on desktop alongside the full node wallet This is a beta release. We encourage everyone to try it alongside the existing wallet and share feedback. Full node wallets are important for decentralization. Lite wallets are important for adoption. Now Zano has both. 🔒

I have friends* who got psyoped into believing that using Bitcoin is evil They only use it to open Lightning channels or consolidate UTXOs, but feel deeply ashamed of it every time Which is fine and dandy, except that Lightning & Liquid don’t pay the miners And the miners can one day decide to break the L2s for being incompatible with the network’s incentives We’ve entered the 2nd half of the 2020s, but bitcoiners still worship solutions from the 2010s that were just good enough for a while but never completely solved the scaling problem *I still consider them my friends, even if they insult me in ways I would never do to anyone

4,025 private transactions today. No amounts visible. No sender tracking. No receiver mapping. That's what default privacy looks like. Most blockchains make you opt in to hiding. Zano's the other way around. #Zano #CryptoPrivacy #CryptoNarrative

The swap feature is live again. The DDoS is still ongoing, but I added some filters and the site is usable again. Cloudflare is temporarily enabled with light filtering, so most users should not hit a JS wall. CF will go off again once this wave is gone. No middleman by default.

Big thanks to the Zano core team for constantly supporting every effort to bring this private money and privacy infrastructure to Africans, especially the people who need financial freedom the most. The support, trust and commitment never go unnoticed Let’s do more together💪
Replying to @ZanoAfrica
Massive respect to @Lil__Kingg for being the boots on the ground in Nigeria. Privacy adoption needs people who actually live it, explain it, and use it in their own communities. 🚀

Shut the CLARITY Act down. it is the Gallrein of crypto bills.
This means the Clarity Act will now be competing for floor time in June with reconciliation, FISA, as well as the housing bill that passed the House this week. The reality of whether the Senate can get two major pieces of legislation done amid time constraints and competing priorities is beginning to set in, and the question of whether one will inevitably slip into July is now being asked. There are four working weeks in June and just three in July before the August recess.

How does @Bridgeless_com actually work under the hood? Because "decentralized bridge" gets thrown around a lot. Here's what makes this one different: 🔹 Runs on a network of independent validator nodes using Delegated Proof-of-Stake. 🔹 Cross-chain operations are authorized through a Threshold Signature Service, meaning no single validator can approve a transfer alone. 🔹 EVM, TON, and Solana use smart contracts for deposits and withdrawals. UTXO networks like BTC and BCH use a decentralized TSS-controlled address. 🔹 No central server. No single team with unilateral control. No single point of failure. 🔒

𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙆𝙔𝘾 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚. the moment you sign up on a centralised crypto exchange (CEX), you enter a process most people don't think twice about. this process must be familiar: ➺ upload your government ID, ➺ take a selfie, ➺ submit proof of address, ➺ enter your date of birth, ➺ full legal name, ➺ social security or national identification number. after all that, you still have to do a liveness check where the app watches your face move in real time. then you click submit and you're verified. and just like that, a complete profile of you, your identity, your face, your home address, your government documents, sits on a centralised server somewhere. stored for a minimum of five to ten years depending on where the exchange is based, even after you close your account. most people think of KYC as a formality. a hoop to jump through to access the platform. what it actually is, is a data collection exercise that has real consequences. beyond just verifying who you are, here's what that data is used for: ➺ exchanges use it to build risk profiles on you. every transaction you make gets monitored against your KYC data, how much you're moving, how often, where it's going. algorithms flag behaviour they consider suspicious. ➺ under something called the Travel Rule, when you send crypto between exchanges, your personal information (name, address, date of birth, wallet address) travels with the transactions and is shared between platforms automatically. ➺ then there's the breach problem. the Coinbase data breach in 2025 exposed sensitive customer information and resulted in significant remediation costs. from Ledger to BitMEX, the list of exchanges that have leaked user data is not short. every piece of personal information sitting in a centralised database is a liability waiting to be exploited. the next time you're signing up to a CEX, remember you're not just signing up for a trading account. you're handing over your complete identity profile to an institution that can freeze your account, share your data with governments, get hacked and retain everything you gave them for a decade after you leave. this is not an argument against using exchanges. it's an argument for understanding exactly what participation costs you, and for being deliberate about how much of your financial life you keep on-chain in transparent, traceable, permanently public form after you leave the exchange. 𝐭𝐥;𝐝𝐫: ➺ KYC on CEX means handing over your identity. ➺ that data lives on a server for up to 10 years. ➺ it gets monitored, shared, and breached. your KYC data is already out there. but your transaction history from this point forward isn't written yet. what you do with your funds on-chain, how much trail you leave, how much of your financial life stays readable, that's still in your hands. shield everything now!

Crypto Tice hasn’t read the bill. It is the largest surveillance bill in US history. Is this a real person or a bot, because I’ve yet to find anyone who can actually articulate what is in the bill (who actually supports it).
BREAKING: The White House just declared war on crypto regulation. All unnecessary regulations. Gone. Not reduced. Not reviewed. Ended. The same government that spent years trying to regulate crypto into oblivion. Just cleared the path completely. - CLARITY Act passing. - Zero capital gains tax proposed. - Strategic Bitcoin Reserve confirmed. And now the White House eliminating every remaining regulatory barrier. One by one every obstacle is being removed. $20,000,000,000,000 is waiting for a clear path. The White House just paved it. Are you positioned.

MUST WATCH🎥. An entire documentary exploring the rise of the Privacy Movement in Africa powered by Zano, the Layer 1 privacy blockchain that has brought real world financial freedom infrastructure to Africa. This is more than just crypto. This documentary captures the growing movement around privacy education, merchant onboarding, private payments, grassroots adoption and the real people pushing for financial freedom in places where surveillance, banking limitations and economic restrictions affect everyday life. From local merchants accepting private digital payments, to students discovering on chain privacy for the first time, to communities learning how to protect their financial activity, this is a look into what happens when privacy technology leaves the internet and enters the real world. You’ll see: 🔹 Real businesses accepting ZANO and Freedom Dollar (fUSD) 🔹Community workshops and meetups across Nigeria 🔹Conversations around financial privacy and human freedom 🔹Merchant onboarding and payment demonstrations What makes this important is that it is happening at the grassroots level. Real people. Real usage. Real adoption. The private economy is no longer an idea. It is already here. It’s a movement. 🛡️ $ZANO
