We can't speak so loosely and callously about karma considering the circumstances of the tragic killing of these officers. If anything, it was the best of the JCF on display considering they lost their lives protecting the life of that 10y.o girl.

As I explained before, some countries have agreed to receive criminals, we have not; some countries have had their agreements made public, but our partner has not agreed for this one to be (it is not that there is anything prejudicial); we also have negotiated for a brake to be applied if 10 TCNs apply for refugee status or otherwise seek to remain under other humanitarian process; also, the IOM will be fully responsible for the care, accomodation and return of the TCNs, Jamaica will only land and transport them to the IOM.

The National Parent-Teacher Association of Jamaica (NPTAJ) has flatly rejected a suggestion, from the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA), for Government to withhold Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education (PATH) benefits from parents who do not regularly attend PTA meetings. While the call, made by JTA President LaSonja Harrison, has received support from other quarters, NPTAJ President Stewart Jacobs described it as discriminatory.

Cosplaying concern for transparency, good governance, ethical reporting, upholding the principles of democracy & the free fair press therein.
The independent press is held to a standard of absolute perfection, where a single error is cited as proof of institutional malice. Meanwhile, state-sponsored or party-shielded media is given a free pass for outright fabrications, spin, and total omissions because it serves the "right" team.
