Reasonable take.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"โ€”whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasnโ€™t sharp enough down the stretch. Iโ€™m sure thatโ€™s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollsterโ€”one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday weโ€™d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (Sheโ€™s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcementโ€”by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, โ€œI told you soโ€: youโ€™re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Letโ€™s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Spoken like an unmarried woman with no children. People forget how young and inexperienced you are (because you wear so much makeup that it actually ages you.) If Trump is taking your advice on foreign policy, he definitely deserves to be impeached.

The comments are brutal. Well-deserved.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment thatโ€™s created safer streets, more money in Americansโ€™ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the presidentโ€™s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. Iโ€™m proud of our team and everything weโ€™ve done for the American people, and Iโ€™m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything weโ€™ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and weโ€™ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

The network of Israeli stooges is sending out ever-more preposterous claims of voter fraud and hacking. This one claims an election worker โ€œdetectedโ€ a fraudulent wifi signal and somehow knew the signal was nefarious, foreign, and interfering with election equipment. Without specialized equipment & examination, which the worker did not have, thereโ€™s no possible way he would know this. This appears to be Israel exploiting existing conservative distrust against them to sow further distrust in even legitimate elections. Psychological jiu-jitsu. Unreal.
Here you go - thank the lord people are now savvy to the cheat. What is going on?

Kentucky was a lock for the GOP. The GOPโ€™s failure to deliver on their campaign promises in โ€˜24 during the 2025-2026 term has moved Kentucky, including the Senate & 6th Congressional, 15-24 points to the left. For the first time in 16 years, weโ€™ll likely lose the 6th District House seat, despite a redder constituency. Absolute own goal by the @GOP. votes.decisiondeskhq.com/racโ€ฆ

Absolutely insane to destroy this womanโ€™s car over an alleged speeding violation. She was pregnant at the time. Beyond this one case, there is a deep lack of institutional understanding of what constitutes excessive force. Police have authority to use force only when force is reasonable. This was obviously well beyond a reasonable use of force.

Hey @grok, some years ago 43 students in Mexico vanished out of the blue all together without leaving any trace. international investigators challenging the narrative account were suddenly targeted with Pegasus spyware from Israel. Even the missing studentsโ€™ parents and lawyers appeared on the list of Israelโ€™s spyware targets. Then came another disturbing revelation. Mexicoโ€™s former chief investigator, accused of manipulating evidence in the case, fled to Israel. Mexico never managed to extradite him and they accused Israel of effectively protecting him. @grok, start with TRUE FALSE

If this doesnโ€™t speak to the moment, I donโ€™t know what does.
Fox News to Trump rally attendee: "Why are you here this morning?" Attendee: "Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front." Fox: "Okay. So maybe this is not a Trump supporter." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

HOAs are crazy. Previously normal people get a small amount of power & lose their minds.
๐Ÿšจ#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in North Carolina after an HOA just DOUBLED monthly fees to **$2,500/MONTH** for homeowners who were paying just $158/month just five years ago... ...and the homeowners say the HOA board tried to charge homeowners $7,500/MONTH JUST IN HOA FEES!!!!!!! On Monday night, the board backed off $7,500... ...but voted to DOUBLE fees to $2,500 a month instead. Yes, $30,000 a year just to LIVE IN YOUR HOME THAT YOU BOUGHT. Nearly SIXTEEN TIMES what families were paying a few years ago. Families who bought what they thought were their forever homes are now being told to pay $30,000 a year in HOA fees, or GO INTO FORECLOSURE!!!!!! The neighborhood is Magnolia Cove in Sherrills Ford, Catawba County NC. Jill Menson and her husband bought their house believing it would be their LAST home and five years ago, their HOA fee was $158 a month. This summer it shot up to more than $1,200. Plus a $10,000 ASSESSMENT on top of that. On Monday night, the HOA board voted to raise fees AGAIN, from $1,250 to $2,500 a month. Thatโ€™s nearly SIXTEEN TIMES what they paid five years ago. And the meeting? It was held over ZOOM. Menson says theyโ€™ll be forced out with nowhere to go, because no one will buy a house carrying fees like that. So they went to the state for help. The North Carolina Attorney Generalโ€™s office told Channel 9 there are NO STATUTES limiting how much an HOA can charge. None. As long as the board follows its own documents, it can charge whatever it wants. In Jill Mensonโ€™s words: โ€œNobody is helping us.โ€ THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!

Norm Eisen celebrating Ed Martin being blocked by the Republican Senate from becoming DC prosecutor, says "the fear factor is much, much less" because of it.
Norm Eisen is thrilled that soon to be former senator Thom Tillis sank Ed Martinโ€™s opportunity to be DC AG. effort. Norm is no doubt scared of Ed Martin because Normโ€™s fingerprints are all over everything related to January 6. Ed Martin must make Norm Eisen target number one for everything that Norm has done since 2017 including lawfare, having Trump affiliated attorneys disbarred, working with the states (Fani, Chris Mayes, etc.) to conduct lawfare as a pardon insurance policy in case Trump won, working to put Tina Peters in prison, trying to kick Trump off the ballot, election interference, bogus impeachments, trying to put Trump in prison over made-up charges (including working with witness Michael Cohen and Juan Merchan at the same time on the Bragg case), the 2020 election, January 6, and on and on and on. If Norm is not held accountable (perp walked and put in prison), his reign of terror will continue the second that democrats take back power.

Genocidal terror state Israel has been โ€œtrainingโ€ 20,000 American cops annually for who knows how long. Now theyโ€™re bringing in over 3% of the federal judiciary annually? Every judge who takes one of these trips should be impeached. Every single one.
Federal Judge Roy Altman says he's taken "ten percent of all the active federal judges in America" on trips to Israel "just in the last three years." Now, he's apparently making state supreme court justices humiliate themselves by competing with one another to go on said trips. "Whoever's going to go is going to have to play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who wins," he says he told the justices. "I looked down two minutes later, and these supreme court justices were going like this [and playing Rock, Paper, Scissors]." Absolutely insane this is being tolerated.
