A great student with a 4.1 GPA & an interest in Engineering, 2027 MIF/OF @jjeverett13 of @BaseballWatauga is coming off an impressive year that resulted in a Region 7 @StateGamesNC Selection You can also view Everett's Spring Varsity & Summer HLs with @_thedirtbags here: youtu.be/L_ku8cETlMI?si=QMPd… Everett is athletic and can move all over the field. Good hip actions in both IF & OF. Hands work soft & quick. Plays with some bounce in the middle. Ran a 7.2 60 yd. At 6'1" 165, he has the frame to add more muscle and bump his metrics significantly. Switch hitter, peppers line drives from the Left Side. Has a feel for the barrel, pullside pop, ability to slice line drives oppo. Can really bury his head/eyes into the ball get good contact on tough pitches. High ceiling as he can get stronger and grow into more power. Has feel for the game. With the interest in an Engineering Degree, Everett'can find good fits in the Pre-Engineering programs that Region 10 JUCO offers and the high-academic D3 Engineering Programs on the East side of the US. Coaches are going to like the versatility and top-of-the-order potential in this high-academic gamer @SeanBurroughs73

2027 C @ChaseGillin stepped in early to seize the Catching job for @BaseballWatauga last Spring. He offers a good mix of offensive and defensive tools. At the plate, he really sinks into his swing, staying connected and showing the ability to drive the ball hard to both gaps. Topped out at 90 MPH on the Exit Velo while averaging 86 MPH. Strong, stocky 5'9" frame Squares up well on the block. Pops were solid: 1.97 to 2.09; gains good ground out of the crouch. Hands are quick on the receive; presents well, works low to the ground, works back towards the plate. Had a chance to watch him live in March, caught a solid game in a 3-1 victory; threw out a runner trying to steal for a strike em out throw em out DP. Has a sold 3.5 GPA but is still Undecided on his degree path. Good JUCO Route candidate. @SeanBurroughs73
