White people’s awful spatial awareness on sidewalks is one of the craziest sociological phenomena ever. Like they’re unconsciously selfish in that regard on a systemic level. Wow

This. This is why we call it a colonial Apartheid state. A (white) US citizen can take an airplane to “vote” in Palestinian lands about the genocidal policies of the Zionist entity, while the indigenous people of Gaza and the West bank are being slaughtered and driven off their lands and have ZERO say over the military occupation they are enduring. All while these colonizers delude themselves into thinking that this is “democracy”. And they don’t even realize it.
I voted for CHANGE - but it was an adventure! After traveling all the way from New York to Israel to vote, I waited an hour with my wife and son, only to be turned away because I didn’t have the right ID (my Israeli passport was being renewed, and my American passport wasn’t accepted). I felt completely devastated and foolish, until my cousin Roni asked with that famous Israeli determination, “What can we do to fix this?” That question launched a huge effort: with help from family and friends and especially Netta - my sister-in-law - we found a nearby Ministry of Interior office that was open especially today. This was better than the other option of trying my luck of getting an emergency passport at the airport. We also discovered a way that I can vote without driving all the way back to Zichron. Against all the odds, I made it to the polling station and cast my vote for CHANGE. I had goosebumps when I did it! Every vote matters - no retreat, no surrender - we've got this!

This is why you apply pressure to and hold politicians accountable even if you support them. It’s your responsibility.

WNBA didnt believe the dream would make the finals. WNBA doesnt want the dream to win the finals. WNBA didnt think the finals would do well ratings wise and buzz wise. WNBA needs better leadership that cares about every team
Dream ownership on arena situation in open letter to Atlanta:
"Two months ago, when the WNBA finalized playoff dates and times, we raised concerns that the W Finals schedule conflicted with NBA games at State Farm Arena ... Our concerns did not receive the attention, nor the urgency that they deserved."

Given an award for journalism that led to the death of someone who has been found not to have even plagiarised. This country is so disgustingly racist.
Very happy to have been shortlisted in the Specialist Journalism category in this year's British Journalism Awards for my investigation into Cambridge University professor Jason Arday and the extensive plagiarism in his PhD thesis #BJA2026

August 3, 1995. The Source Awards in New York City. OutKast had just won Best New Rap Group, but the room did not exactly welcome them with open arms. As André 3000 and Big Boi stepped up to accept the award, the crowd booed. At the time, hip-hop was caught between the East Coast and West Coast, and Southern rap was often treated like it had something to prove.
André did not give a long speech. He barely had time to say much at all. But then he delivered the line that would follow Southern hip-hop for years: “The South got something to say.”
