#OhioGovernor AdImpact: Super PAC supporting Amy Acton releases new ad “Amy Acton is from Youngstown. Spent her entire career helping people. Vivek? He peddled a drug for Alzheimer's patients that didn't work. Now he's a billionaire ... Jeep people built Ohio. Jet people like Vivek Ramaswamy fly right over it.”

Pretty insane story from the NYTimes detailing the lengths Democrats went through to directly recruit literally anyone named Dan Sullivan to run in an attempt to confuse Alaskan voters in the Senate race.
NYT: Inside Democrats’ Secret Effort to Stack Alaska’s Ballot Operatives aligned with Mary Peltola, the Democratic nominee for Senate, spent months recruiting candidates to peel votes from Senator Dan Sullivan, the Republican. In the summer of 2025, a staffer for Mary Peltola, the Alaska Democrat who was eyeing a run for Senate, received unusual instructions from top campaign aides: Find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as you can. nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

This use to be a fun site where you could make non-partisan electoral predictions but thats gone now. You guys have genuinely killed that aspect. Congrats. I could deadass predict that dems win 300 house seats and I'd be called MAGA because I didn't predict they'd get 350.

Nikolas Ferreira, the 30 year old federal deputy from Minas Gerais who just became the most voted congressman in Brazilian history with over 3.1 million votes, is about to have his passport revoked and be banned from leaving the country. Of course, he’s a right-winger and the Communists now wish to destroy him. He was elected city councilor in 2020 with the second highest total ever in the capital, then federal deputy in 2022 with 1.49 million votes. Reelected in 2026 by doubling that number. Social media giant. Conservative Christian. Family, free markets, liberty. One of the biggest voices on the Brazilian right. They’re citing a 2024 “injúria” case over comments about Lula and calling bolsonarismo a “gangue” as the reason for the seizure. This is pure lawfare. Steal an election, then go after the most popular young right wing deputy in the country before he can even speak. This election “victory” has the Communists more emboldened than ever. Brazil is the new Venezuela. Moraes and Lula are the new Maduro. Maybe even worse.

What’s happening in Brazil is almost exactly what would’ve happened here in America if we didn’t elect Trump. He was facing decades in jail from political prosecutions for the “crime” of trying to dismantle DC corruption. We were *this* close to becoming a banana republic.
“Flávio has given up,” an adviser to the Bolsonaro family told me. “He’s terrified. He is worried his father will die in jail, that he himself will be jailed this week and that he may have a long prison term ahead.” washingtonpost.com/politics/…

For those who decided to invent some bizarre new authoritarian law-and-order rule today to justify Moraes' ban on Bolsonaro leaving the country -- that if you're under investigation (without even being charged), it's normal to have your passport seized -- please note: Lula's son is engulfed in several major financial scandals and investigations relating to lobbyist corruption. His passport has never been seized or cancelled. In fact, he left Brazil to go live in extreme luxury in Spain (in the same neighborhood where several of the world's highest-paid soccer players live), where nobody can explain the source of what appears to be his great wealth. Countless rich and powerful people in Brazil, including Lula's allies, are under investigation yet freely leave the country when they want: jetting off to Dubai, France, wherever. Truly bizarre how some on the left start fabricating extremist police powers when it suits them.
Brazilian authorities and media are trying to find out where Flavio Bolsonaro is. Brazil's notorious authoritarian Judge Alexandre de Moraes -- before the votes were counted -- already had an order prepared to seize Bolsonaro's passports and bar him from leaving the country even though **he's been charged with no crime** (there are various pending financial investigations). Moraes signed the order barring Bolsonaro from leaving Brazil SEVEN MINUTES after Lula was declared the winner on Sunday night. A media outlet in Argentina this morning reported that Bolsonaro entered Argentina to fly to the US. His friends and allies deny this, but Flavio could easily just appear in Brazil or even by video and has not done so. Argentina is being sketchy, evasive and somewhat uncooperative with Brazil's federal police (Lula and Milei are obviously not allies). Whatever else is true, it is not exactly a sign of a healthy, normal or functioning democracy when the candidate who narrowly loses a presidential race -- and concedes defeat -- is suddenly barred from leaving the country by a Supreme Court Judge now globally notorious for censoring, imprisoning and otherwise persecuting his critics and opponents of Lula's government. It is also worth noting that Bolsonaro's party dominates the Senate, having run on a vow to impeach Moraes, and this is seen by many as a kind of leverage/hostage ploy by Moraes to cling to power.

Forcing a candidate with 60 million votes to surrender his passport 7 minutes after the election result is pure authoritarianism. Flávio was wise to leave the Brazil. Lula is a dictator. Imagine if a right-wing President did this. The international community must act!

Flavio Bolsonaro es el único candidato a presidente en toda la historia de Sudamérica, al cual se le impone una restricción para salir de su país en menos de 24 hs de finalizado el proceso electoral. Ni en la Venezuela chavista se animaron a tanto.

If it's true Flavio fled to the US... 🇧🇷 Odds are his father told him to flee the country when they met yesterday. Meaning they may have said "Goodbye" to each other forever 😢 Without a right wing win, his father - Jair - will die in prison. Fuck petistas

Former Venezuelan presidential candidate Alejandro Peña Esclusa is right. It is impossible for the right to have won the parliamentary elections 20 days ago so convingly and for Lula to have won yesterday with four million votes. As my friend Alejandro says, this was a coup.
Lula dio un golpe de Estado. Imposible que la derecha haya arrasado en la 1ra vuelta y que -apenas 20 días después- Lula gane con 4 millones de votos. Se repite en Brasil el robo que perpetró Maduro en 2024.

Brazil election numbers. Statistically impossible: Round 1: • Lula (left): 53.9 million • Bolsonaro (right): 56.1 million • Cury (right): 3.4 million • Santos (right): 2.6 million • Caiado (right): 2.6 million • Zemu (right): 0.3 million Round 2: • Lula (left): 64.1 million • Bolsonaro (right): 59.8 million Once the five other right-wing candidates (totaling 11.2 million votes) were removed from the race, the left-wing candidate picked up more additional votes than the remaining right-wing candidate.
