nasa: we gonna spend billions to look for bacteria farts on mars
nasa when it comes to UFO/UAP:
people have no idea how much sexualized content is pushed to humanity through social media due to normalization via over-exposure
rare announcement type where everything is actually on the table and not hidden in footnotes
Cancer patients with the same diagnosis often have very different tumor biology.
Molecular testing can reveal underlying differences, but that's slow and expensive.
Introducing Holon-S1, our platform to predict genes and biomarkers from routine pathology slides.
• beats two other models at predicting spatial gene activity in a controlled comparison
• has identified potentially novel biomarkers in breast cancer and colon cancer
• evaluated across 16 organ types and more than 15 scanners, using slides from both formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded and fresh-frozen tissue.
We believe Holon-S1 has the potential to help researchers find new biomarkers in slides they already have, discover treatment targets, and bring more personalized cancer care within reach!
it's sociologically more interesting to watch techie/tpot reactions to french events than french events themselves
hot take: tesla roadster is banger for 2026, great engineering achievement, and yet unremarkable for the long term
there's 2 possible responses to latest advances in ai:
- you revise your definition of human to find a deeper nature of humanity
- you cling to your definition and willingly/unwillingly dehumanize humanity
2nd is pathological, and as clockwork, people in power are going for 2nd
ai psychosis is going full steam ahead, spreading like wildfire, compounded by retarded nerds thinking and talking like they're midwifing an entity

Palantir CTO reveals AI researchers are taking up smoking to signal to other researchers that they believe AI will cure cancer--and calls it a “mass psychosis”
Shyam Sankar (CTO): “But if you understand that it’s actually a theological critique, then you can kind of weigh it against the empirical facts of what is actually happening out there.
“I think there’s a profound truth to Pascal’s saying that every human has a God-shaped hole in their heart. And it’s important to understand that many of these folks in Silicon Valley who are building this technology have filled that hole with the machine god of AGI.
“And I mean, there’s so many interesting stories around this. For example, so many AI researchers have started smoking as a way of signaling to other researchers how much they believe in AI.”
Margaret Brennan: “What? That makes no sense. What do you think?”
Shyam Sankar: “I believe so much in AI that it’s going to cure cancer. So I’m showing you my chips are all in. So there is kind of this mass psychosis, social delusion around it.”
lmao many of them can be answered with one-liners, most of them are pretentious intellectuality, rare gems are there
overall, bullshit exam
Today I learned about the All Souls examination, which is reputed to be the hardest exam in the world.
To even be considered, you need to have a degree from, or be a current graduate student of Oxford.
Hundreds of people sit and only two people pass every year.
Attached is last year's general exam.
Before I saw it, I wondered, how hard could it be.
Well, it turns out…it's "Defend ghosting.", "Does a pope matter?", and "Is body language a language?" hard:
