New Mexico Judge orders META to pay $25 billion for misleading users about their privacy and content moderation policies.
This penalty stems from a lawsuit regarding the Cambridge Analytica scandal, where a jury found the company committed over 43 million violations of state consumer protection laws by lying about who had access to user data.
Jurors determined that 26 of 29 statements made by Meta and its leadership regarding data privacy were deceptive, with Judge Francis Mathew ruling that the company’s misrepresentations were a systematic part of its core business practices.
Who was in charge of META content between 2008-2022?

AMERICAN COMEBACK. My friend @SaraLJaffray was a sick, obese, 28-year old married mom with high cholesterol & chronic fatigue on blood pressure medication, whose hair was falling out.
She found a way to get it together, got in shape, and thankfully all her medical maladies went away. Clean bill of health. Total life transformation. Gave up her food addiction, swapped it for the gym. Even returned with her husband to church.
Then she got trucked by cancer earlier this year, which she has now beaten as well after grueling regimens of radiation & chemo. Her success was due in no small part to the habits, resilience & health she developed during her prior life transformation.

Sara reminds me of the saying, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
Sara describes herself as a typical "White mutt" American. But far from being a "mutt," she embodies American excellence.
