Football’s a funny old game. Arsenal’s U21s beat a League One side on the same evening their first team got knocked out by a League Two side 🤯

They say you learn something new every day. Yesterday it was the word “divination”.

I'm getting a bit confused with the Pro mode and wondering if someone can help? I previously (before the gameweek started) submitted one Championship lineup for the second step, it didn't hit the threshold and I was reset when the gameweek finished: I hadn't realised about the clock. I'm playing the Premier League and passed the first step. Chelsea vs Man Utd kicks off at 12:30pm, I have players in the 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm games. If I wait until after the Chelsea vs Man Utd game has kicked off I think I'd be able to submit a lineup containing Chelsea and Man Utd players from their match on the following weekend which both falls at the end of Sunday. My question is if I wait until the Chelsea vs Man Utd game kicks off and then submit 2 teams with players from the 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm is my clock extended until the end of the following gameweek because technically I could select Chelsea and Man Utd players? @Sorare @soraresupport Also @andrewmlaird as you're normally pretty good with the intricate details. #sorare

Sorare really wants me to go out, meet someone new, become friends with them and then convince them to spend £20 on gems.

I've had no luck with Sorare crafting this season. Won loads of essence recently but got nothing, tonight I ripped 1 SR, 2 Rares and 2 Limiteds worth about £20 combined. Nothing decent in the other slots either. As much as I love the excitement of the gamble, sometimes I miss the old system where you were rewarded for your finishing position and you weren't left disappointed. Has crafting been nerfed or have I just been unlucky? #sorare

Alongside our Sorare Team Builder, we're also running the Sorare Arcade competitions beta! We've got some fun team-building challenges to test your Sorare gallery, with free prizes up for grabs in selected competitions. You can also create your own competitions, invite friends and chat, banter, brag and celebrate together through competition posts. Come give it a try! sorarearcade.com/competition… #sorare

If you're looking to advance in sets, inferno or other competitions this weekend this tool could be very useful for you! sorarearcade.com/team-builde… #sorare

My Sorare Team Builder is back, now with Pro support, meaning it can also be used for the new Inferno mode! With Sets and Pro, I think planning when and if to play is just as important as building the lineup itself. In this example, I'm targeting 3-4 Set steps this weekend and walking through how I plan to approach them using the tool. It's still very much in beta, but it's free to try this weekend! A word of caution: take the projections with a pinch of salt. They're there to help you make decisions, not guarantee outcomes. If you're using it for the later, higher-stakes stages of Sets, it's very much at your own risk! sorarearcade.com #sorare

The cards look really cool and I love the Classic element, but 17 days of utility feels very short. Between these and the European Boosted cards, are we getting too many cards with limited-time utility? Starting to feel like In-Season means Autumn/Winter/Spring/Summer rather than the football season. #sorare

I extracted the player data from Championship Manager 97/98 to start building some fun projects with it. I’ve packaged the data up on npm in case anyone else wants to build something with it too. It’s got me feeling very nostalgic, especially that sweeper postioning. npmjs.com/package/cm9798 #FM #CM

Thanks to everyone who’s been taking part in the Sorare Arcade beta so far! There’s not a huge amount of club football this midweek, so we’ve added an East Asia All-Stars competition that requires players from the J.League, K League and Chinese Super League. It’s also our first competition with a prize for the winner: a Retro Tokyo Limited Edition Kenta Nemoto. sorarearcade.com/competition… #sorare
