i keep saying cable was the epitome of tv which is why everything turns into it. people dislike the ala cart model because they're paying for stuff they're not watching, but that's what allows weird, niche programs to exist. otherwise it's just whatever's the most mainstream.

Rewatching The Simpsons weekly has made me realize something. I miss Cable TV. I don’t think TV was designed to be binge watched. I know some people prefer binging but I missed this feeling of anticipation and excitement between episodes.
