We had a great day yesterday with #Wessex Farm Conservation Cluster presenting on 'Water Management in an Unpredictable Climate' (how apt!) 🌧 Discussions incl. #soilhealth, reducing #flooding impact, management of pesticides & yard runoff.
Thank you to our hosts @BattleFarms 🙏
After 11 weeks and four days #harvest2023 is finished under blue skies and sunshine. Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to get the harvest in, some long nights and many times grabbing an hour or two between the rain.
After waiting for a gap in the rain harvest 2023 finally started yesterday in winter barley.

Today we had all the trailers tested by Merit Inspections to test all the breaks using a rolling road.
