One thing about us Kenyans is that, despite our own challenges, we strongly believe in African unity. We understand that Africa cannot reach its full potential while we remain divided by borders, visas and different currencies. The goal should be a united Africa where Africans can travel freely across the continent, trade freely with one another and eventually use a common currency. We have more in common than what divides us.

One of the most encouraging consequences of this Ruto Xenophobic incitement, is the fact that we are seeing decent African rising up and resisting this hate, denouncing it, vowing to protect their fellow Africans from Government inspired attacks, and this is the true African spirit.
