I'm Nobody! Who are you? Are you—Nobody—too? Films, Cricket. Not necessarily in that order. Mostly boring. And anxious. Bi. (He/Him)

Palestinian cinema is one of the most underseen cinema imo. Doing a thread of films/short films on Palestine that I think most people should watch.

Mr. Gyanesh Kumar is not going to survive as the CEC of India. We have enough evidence to ensure that this gentleman does not continue in office. If the BJP insists on retaining him even after we reveal what we know, then the BJP's game will be clear for everyone to see. : LoP Shri @RahulGandhi at the Public Impeachment of CEC Gyanesh Kumar 📍 Delhi

Last few movies i watched La Bola Negra: Beautiful, grand, intimate, and painful. Adored so many things about it. 9/10 Dorothy: Second half was a bit meh but still great movie. Climax was beautiful. 7/10 Clayface: Some good moments but not that good ultimately. 4.5/10

Songs of Forgotten Trees: Sweet and tender at times but not really interesting sadly esp in the second half. Strong performances tho. 5.5/10 Verity: Disappointing. 3/10

Are more than 50 right wing goons threatening with violence right outside the mandir marg police station not a "breach of peace" for the Delhi Police? This hooliganism is being enabled while peaceful protestors are being framed as disruptors in the imagination of the people.

I write on Sharjeel Imam as a committed democrat who deserves a place in a radical democratic project of the future, one focused on the liberty and equality of all. telegraphindia.com/amp/opini…

🚨BREAKING : Now THIS is spine 🔥✊ Neha Bora, a day after the Delhi High Court dismissed their plea: > "We will not sign this peace bond." > "Signing it would mean this bond can be used to stop any peaceful, democratic protest in this country." > "AISA's signature will not be on the normalisation of this." > "Is not asking questions peace?" > "Is walking alone also a breach of peace?" And what did Delhi Police list as the "threat"? Slogans at Mandi House, protests near Jantar Mantar, and asking people to join a protest at CP. Think about it for a second. > The bond looks harmless. "Just promise you won't break the peace." > But sign it once, and every future protest becomes a "violation" > Then the next student gets the same notice > Then the next one That's how dissent gets killed in a democracy. Not with a ban, but with paperwork. They expected a 20-something student to quietly sign and go home. Instead they got a "no" on camera, in front of every mic. The government has the police, the notices and the courtrooms. The students have their spine. SIGN IT YOURSELF, SARKAAR. WE'RE NOT SCARED 🗿🔥

Not our fault that international distribution is fucked up for these movies, esp in the digital era. I am not going to wait till Feb/Mar 2027 for a limited release when even that isn't a certainty. Doing this discourse again is just useless.
Sorry, but both La Bola Negra and All of a Sudden leaking online on the same day is disgusting shit. See these films on a big screen, I implore you. Give them your money. They deserve it.

Exceptional movie. It's tangible and lived in. Really well staged. A bit overstretched and the interwined narratives make it feel repetitive but still a must watch. Scenes towards the end knocked me out. It's like an ode to the bravery of our queer communities. Loved it so much.
