Really exciting news! 🥳🥃🎉
Taking a quick break from grant writing to announce that I will officially be starting my PhD training this fall in @BaxterLabHQ!
A huge thank you to everyone who's helped me get here! (And an extra thanks to @joshrbaxter for agreeing to put up with me for another 4 years)
It was great to visit @UDtendongroup and talk tendon.
An exciting day in the @BaxterLabHQ today as we took a field trip to visit @UDtendongroup!
The most exciting part? After years doing research I was finally a subject in a study that wasn't part of my own lab! Big shout-out to @RightNaoPT and @scattonesilva for having me.

Congrats to @joshrbaxter @pennmotionlab (U Penn) & @kgSilbernagel @bio_stats (@UDelawarePT) on their new 5-yr @NIH_NIAMS R01 grant👏👏
This novel study will determine loading profiles & biomarkers that explain healing & functional outcomes of patients with Achilles tendinopathy!
Congrats John!
Congratulations to Dr. John Drazan (@Sports2STEM), @PennPORT_IRACDA Fellow at the @pennmotionlab, on his new faculty position. John is heading to @FairfieldU in the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering next fall as a tenure track Asst. Professor.
Best wishes to you, John.

1️⃣🥇 STUDY demo exercise ranking that gradually increased Achilles tendon loading across diverse set of exercises
☢ Some exercises fell within several loading tiers
⚠️ A subset of these exercises may be adequate in loading the tendon to stimulate healing
