🚨Goodbye MonkeyTilt, Hello Tilt Rips🚨 After 6-8 months of planning, the executive team and I at Tilt have decided to focus FULLY on collectibles and wind down/spin-off/sell all non-core products in the business (casino, sportsbook, and a couple smaller divisions). The world does not need another crypto casino but it’s going to want the innovation we plan to bring to the collectibles space. We made this decision with the support of our board, our team, our investors and our community. We made sure all day 1 employees from years ago and day 1 investors that had equity in Monkeytilt retain that same equity in our collectibles endeavors. The enterprise value of this has already exceeded everything we’ve built with Monkeytilt. But more importantly, the team is happier than it’s ever been. We all feel like kids again, building stuff that speaks to our souls and connects us with our children, our families and our communities in a deeper way. I will write a much longer tweet later about mine and the team’s journey building everything that led to this, the speed bumps along the way, the multiple and inevitable pivots in any founder journey and how grateful everyone is to have been a part of this ongoing story. My team is going to bring everything that makes us great product builders, gamers, developers and risk takers and fully invest that energy into bringing fresh and exciting product into the collectibles space. We cannot afford to have a minute of our bandwidth taken away from what we are doing. It is also the case that to fully explore the opportunities available to us in collectibles, we needed to divest of any non-core products that could interfere with liquidity options and upside for our investors and employees. Stay tuned. We are just getting started. Señor

🚨🚨Next Day Slab Shipping🚨🚨 Shipping times are the most common complaints about pack ripping sites, including ours. @TiltRips spent last month building a proprietary system that has helped us accomplish these stats in the last 7 days (9/16-9/23): Slab-only orders took 33.4 hours on average (about 1.4 days) from request to carrier hand-off on a total of 377 orders. Median for this timeline was 27.1 hours 41% of these orders were shipped inside of 24 hours since requested The fastest order only took 1.1 hours from request to shipped. Give us 4 more weeks and we will have similar efficiency with raw cards and sealed product. VIP or not, we are shipping your slabs within 48 hours. Señor

Avery the Poke Kid passed away suddenly last night. I’m not known for crying a lot but for a few reasons this specific story brought me to tears. The kid has been battling pancreatic cancer for years. His story is well documented on Instagram for those who are not familiar. We all battle different demons in our lives day to day but how stupid does most of that feel when you think about a child like Avery. He is living every day in pain, checking in and out of the hospital, procedure after procedure, test after test while trying to maintain a positive attitude and put a smile on everyday. It is the ultimate privilege check. What the F do any of us have to whine about in our lives. This kid is a warrior. And his parents and the community supporting him are true heroes. Avery found solace in nothing other than the hobby that has personally saved my life and the lives of so many of my friends in our darkest hours: the world of Pokemon. To celebrate Avery’s life and honor his family, tonight from 7-10pm PST we're donating 10¢ from every pack of $1 or more opened on Tilt Rips to Avery's family's GoFundMe. @TiltRips is committing to a minimum donation of $10,000 USD to help his family with medical bills and anything else they may need at this time. I cannot imagine what they are going through right now and we hope that this very tiny gesture can inspire others to give. Rest easy, Avery. 💙
