I asked Christ to come like a thief in the night and take my grandpa in his sleep. He passed away at 91 holding his teddy bear and a smile on his face. I asked Christ not to let my dad die alone in a nursing home, my step mom walked in as he was passing. My stepdad was dying of cancer. I asked Christ for mercy for him. He passed with me the next morning. My mom lost her sanity shortly after. I begged Christ to not let her die in that frame of mind. We were able to recover what pharmaceuticals had done with b1 and brain force supplement. I absolutely know Christ is real for what He has done in my life. I know what name I call upon. I know who the Savior is. This is the true beauty of knowing your loved one has/had a relationship with Him. It gives you grace, mercy, and peace in the darkest of hours. There is nothing He doesnβt use to His will. I pray you all find your way back home to Him. May His mercy, grace and peace be with this family ποΈβοΈποΈ
How do you know God is real? When I asked God a year ago to give us one more holiday season with my grandpa, He did. When I asked God to give my grandpa the time to meet my niece, He did. When I asked God to give me one more week to say goodbye, He did. He gave us not one week more than what I had asked for. I knew my grandpa was going to pass the night before he did, which was today. My grandpa had COPD. My mother who is in the medical field had expressed that she has never seen someone live as long as my grandpa has with COPD. 10 years ago the doctor gave us one more year with him and we got 10. I am beyond grateful to my Lord that He has been gracious enough for time which is something many people arenβt able to get. Ernie, you will rest in heaven for the rest of eternity and there is no doubt in my mind that right now you are greeting your family members that have gone before you. Some of my last words to you were βYouβre going to meet Jesus soon. Iβm a little jealous.β because right now, Heaven is trumpeting in the welcoming of your arrival. How blessed I was to be your granddaughter on earth, and how blessed Heaven is to gain an angel like you.
