NYT came out with a big piece against bitcoin mining (which had a number of errors).
Now there’s a growing account with a lot of engagement criticizing the NYT’s usage of trees.
The @nytimes doesn’t care how many millions of trees they murder because they don’t care about rural America.
What if the NYT had to kill the trees in Central Park to print their wastepaper?
It would take 2950 Central Parks to print the NYT for just ONE YEAR.
