If AJ Swann beats Texas, can the banner be changed for a week to “Swann Lake”? @sixpackspeak

Agreed. Gotta ride the train that’s leaving the station

Once State makes the decision to keep or fire Lebby - I’m full steam ahead. I’m a blind loyalist. Especially with it being probably Kamario’s last year in college.

He’s saying all the right things & I believe him. What concerns me is the potential of how wild things can get over the next 2 months. We better pray AJ Swann is the guy & can beat Vandy. I haven’t seen an offense the last 2 weeks who will beat a SEC team.
Kamario Taylor made clear in his statement today: “Starkville is home.” Mississippi State AD Zac Selmon told ESPN today MSU will continue to be proactive in both signing Taylor and funding roster upgrades to compete at highest level.

If he stays healthy & win 9 this year it was a 0% chance If Lebby gets fired because we win 5 games & another epic collapse, it’s a greater than 0% chance not b/c he doesn’t love MSU, it’s b/c program unrest Does he leave? I doubt it. But this is a reality that’s on Lebby

I mean you all but said it let’s not argue wording. I mean you either think he is true in what he says or you don’t.

I get it. That’s what I want. What I said was it makes it more possible. And it’s not based on KT1, it’s the state of the program. If State goes 5-7 again, you’re talking about major unrest in the program.

Stop looking at Kamario like he is your typical player that would just up and leave a school he has said numerous times he loves. He grew up a Mississippi State fan, grew up dreaming of being the QB at the school he loves dearly. He knows he is the man here and will be back.

Ya’ll are going to hate me for this take but KT not finishing the season & MSU missing a bowl will make him taking a massive payday somewhere else next year much more possible. We will likely be hiring a new coach as well.

Healthy KT1 with a 8-9 win season, he’s locked in, State fans give a ton of money, & attempt a playoff run next year. That seems like quite a stretch now if this season goes bad & Lebby’s employment status becomes questionable.

Sources: Mississippi State star QB Kamario Taylor will miss the rest of the season, as he faces surgery on his injured toe. Taylor has an appointment today to get his toe checked out by a specialist and could have surgery as early as tomorrow. He’s expected to make a full recovery.

Let me clear this up & please fact check me: turf toe can 100% be caused by contact, esp in football, when you plant and your foot gets bent back. In non contact versions it’s from a a plant & explosion causing the hyper extension. That often happens on artificial turf.

I don’t know the exact play he got it. I think it’s fair to say late Mizzou and then again in Bama. We all saw the hitch in the step vs OU. MSU was 133rd in sacks allowed last year & 124th this year. If you don’t think that factors in QB injuries, ok?

It’s unreal. It’s Arnette & the defense or none of the QBs injuries Lebby’s entire tenure have a single thing to do with the beatings they took from poor OL. I don’t think most fans realize Shapen & KT had surgery last year from injuries.
Replying to @BeastManSteve
These people will blame anybody except Lebby. Now we are here blaming Taylor for the poor offensive line play.

This is so patently false its wild to say out loud. Google that and come back. Now if you’re making the claim that KT suffered it in a non contact play, show me where that was said or the video. I saw him be scraped off the ground & limp off the field in the Mizzou & Bama games
Replying to @BeastManSteve
Turf toe is a non-contact injury.

And that doesn’t change the beating Shapen took last year, KT took in 2 starts last year which culminated in ankle surgery, & then this year in 4 starts. We haven’t kept a QB healthy under Lebby & his OL

He was running for his life out of a 100% collapsed pocket. He got killed the entire game. You sir, have earned what you are about to receive. I’m not arguing with morons

He was way past the line of scrimmage and got smacked by the safety crashing in while he was trying to run. Seems like you’re the one in the alternate universe

You watch the bowl game last year or were you in an alternate universe?
Replying to @BeastManSteve
Taylor wasn’t injured last year because of the offensive line

It took 2 starts last year for Kamario Taylor to get injured. This year it took 4. It’s time for a larger discussion about the absolute malpractice Olines we’ve had. While we’re at it they got Shapen killed last year too. The state of the program is 100% on Lebby & Loadholt.
