Whatever pub or bar you’re watching the game in tonight, spare a thought for the ones behind the bar as they’re putting in an epic shift. Be kind, be gracious and be grateful. And buy them a drink!

Labour won a huge majority on a low share of the vote. Conservatives and Reform together got more votes. One Nation Ministers failed to reassure Conservative voters on migration, tax, U.K. sovereignty and other crucial 2019 promises. In 2019 today’s Reform voters backed the Conservatives to get Brexit done.
Thank you Krishnan on @Channel4News for bringing the conversation back to the real story of the night being likely Labour landslide at last
Did Dories really say the Tories should “stay centrist”? They’ve not been centrist. Less right wing than the other right wing nutters, but not centrist.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8
Currently dreaming of the scenario where, through tactical voting, the Tories are consigned to third place and the LibDems are the opposition. Obscurity beckons for those self centred, amoral, spineless grifters that have been dragging this country backwards for 14 years. #GTFTO

Two futures:
Labour in Government. Tories in Opposition. 5 years of endless culture wars & immigrant-bashing.
Labour in Government, LibDems in Opposition. Tories powerless & voiceless on back benches.
If the Tories come third, it changes everything. Here's why:

What an extraordinarily disingenuous tweet.
Labour had nothing to do with the collapse of Northern Rock. In fact it bailed it out.
Meanwhile Rishi Sunak was a hedge fund manager at TCI which caused the collapse of RBS roughly a year later.

🏉Just why do volunteers make such a difference to grassroots rugby communities?
Moira Bowden is a real insight into the answer.
👏She steered @HPoolRovers back from the brink after the covid pandemic and has relentlessly been driving future success.

I’d like to thank @TfL & @SouthernRailUK for consistently cancelling later services and making life even harder for those of us working the service sector to keep everyone’s else social lives moving.
The next time someone pushes me in the back on the tube I *might* politely inform them that I was perfecting my mosh pit years before they were born, and then kick off.
What the actual fuck?
