We had the pleasure of welcoming the brilliant team from Covey to our three-day Community Mental Health Learning Programme. Together, we explored attachment theory, how our relationships shape our nervous systems, and practical ways we can better understand and support ourselves and others. There were some fantastic conversations, shared experiences and learning along the way, all done intentionally through the values of #Kindness, #Compassion and #Love. Celebrating the success of young people from @BishopbriggsAC who took on our Dare to Venture week at Badaguish Outdoor Centre and climbed Cairn Gorm. The weather tested them. Low cloud, cold wind and wet rock underfoot. They looked after each other, kept going and stood at the top together. They also achieved their @sqanews SCQF Level 5 award in First Aid for Mental Health, leaving the week with skills to support themselves and each other. That's what happens when young people are given the right challenge with the right people beside them. They find out they're more capable than they thought.
