📋| 🇧🇪 The squad list for November will most likely be announced next Friday, here's a few key things that I want to point out:
- Most likely we won't see 28 players, 25-26 are probably more reasonable
- Loïs Openda will be out with injuries, would be interesting to see if MvB picks a striker to replace him
- Malick Fofana will probably be left out for the returning Jeremy Doku
- 3 or 4 goalkeepers?
- Is it necessary to pick 5 centre backs?
🇧🇪🌟 The first career hattrick for Samuel Mbangula!

🗣️| 🇧🇪 Malick Fofana already looking forward to the Coventry game:
“I work hard every day, so I hope I can continue like this, but also the team. The win was very important, so I hope Saturday we can continue."

🗣️| 🇧🇪 Malick Fofana acknowledged that it took him some time to adapt to his new surroundings:
"For me, I had a normal pre-season. So, yeah, I'm adapting, but the lads always help me a lot. It will be no problem. The fans are there for me. I have some problems, so I can count on them."

I am still waiting for him to make his debut for the A team, at least give him some minutes off the bench...
🗣️| 🇧🇪 Malick Fofana on his first goal for Sunderland:
"Yeah, a relief. I'm very happy, finally, you can say, but I worked very hard, so I've been patient, and I'm very happy with my goal. It's always a good feeling to score at home; with the fans, they support us every day, every time. So, yeah, I'm very happy to give them something back."

Despite Romeo Lavia scoring and Mike Penders saving a penalty during shootout, Chelsea is eliminated by Liverpool. ❌
But the good news is that Lavia finally finished a full 90 minutes match in a Chelsea shirt after 3 seasons! ✅

Thomas Meunier, who returned from injury last night, celebrated the victory with Malick Fofana, who scored his first goal for the Black Cats! 🇧🇪❤️

The first of many more goals in Sunderland colours for Malick Fofana! ❤️🤍

What a way to bounce back after the blunder he made on his full premier league debut against the Spurs.
Made some great saves throughout the game, and even saved one penalty during the shootout.
He still got some opportunities to show what he can do before Martinez comes back.

The more talent for us, the better.
I definitely wouldn't say no to that.
