The crowd is literally 50/50… in a WORLD SERIES game. I’m sorry, you gotta move them.

I’ve been covering Davidson basketball since 2016 and I can’t say I’m shocked. I also don’t think the people who made this decision realize the miscalculation they made. Come write for the Belk Report Coin!!!

censorship run amok? davidson mbb terrified of criticism of its middling/FAILING program? coin2kfan digital footprint getting too big?

I will also say that I’ve interviewed Bob and Matt McKillop many times, both after good and bad games. They can take criticism. Some admin is making a (very bad) decision for the program that Matt would not make himself. He can face the music.

I’ve gotten in trouble with my Daniel Jones hate in the past, but this time there’s no way it’s his fault. The Colts willingly gave him that deal coming off an Achilles tear!!! That’s on the Colts.

Not even exaggerating but he has to be in the discussion for biggest scammer in league history no?

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

He just doesn’t get it. Michigan is different than Utah. It just is. Great coach, but it just doesn’t work here.

Kyle Whittingham after Michigan's 13-6 OT loss to Indiana: "If that's the number 6 team in the country, then we're a pretty good football team, even though we're sitting here at 4-3."

Michigan's play-calling inside the Indiana 10 in this game should be a federal offense.

I’m honestly not that pressed about the loss, it is what it is. Clearly the staff does not have it.
Bob Wojnowski@bobwojnowskiOct 24
We just saw the dumbest play call in Michigan football history. Trailing Indiana 6-0, UM has third and goal from the 1. OC Jason Beck calls for freshman Tommy Carr to roll out and try to hit the Rhino guy, Beigel. Sacked. Missed FG. That's arrogance and stubborness from Beck.

Tommy Carr has been put in an impossible position. Anyone who thought Bryce Underwood was the main problem was kidding themselves. Michigan unfortunately replaced one incompetent coaching staff with another, and both QBs are now paying the price for that.

Bryce is still a horrible processor and incredibly inconsistent. That’s mainly on the coaching staff last year. Tommy Carr’s struggles are because he’s a true freshman.

Can the Bryce blamers & now Tommy blamers unite and realize it’s not a QB problem?

Villanova backing out of the Big 5? Not a good look at all. Basketball in Philly has a distinct culture and network of people that spans so many generations. Nova's Big 5 ties carry meaning and significance and that shouldn't be tossed out. Hopefully this flips back ASAP.
Jeff Neiburg@Jeff_NeiburgOct 22
The current format of Big 5 men's basketball will end after this year, and the immediate future has the 5 non-Villanova schools playing round-robin without the Wildcats. Villanova didn't want to keep this format, and another could not be agreed on. Story:inquirer.com/college-sports/…

Big 5 men’s basketball schools to move forward with round-robin format without Villanova in 2027-28

It's possible that a one-day Big 5 Classic tripleheader lives on. But with the current format nearing the end of its contract, Villanova was not interested in keeping with the status quo.

On the other hand, even with games scheduled against La Salle and Temple, Villanova found room to host Holy Cross, Rider, Coppin State and Fairleigh Dickinson. Like all big schools these days, Villanova is just afraid to play nonconference games it has a 5%-20% chance of losing.

Villanova is 3-3 in the Big 5 since 2023. Seems like their skill level fit in just perfectly with the rest recently.
