Before you vote tomorrow, remember that the Concourt ruled that the DA perpetuates apartheid spatial planning in Cape Town

We have watched our cities lose the vibrancy, character and soul that once made them thrive. We have mourned their decline as hijacked, dilapidated buildings become breeding grounds for illicit activities, further eroding the fabric of our communities.
But it is time to move beyond mourning what our cities once were. We need leaders who are tired of the decay and ready to do the work to turn things around.
RISE Mzansi’s Joburg Mayoral Candidate, Lukhona Mnguni, is one such leader. He is determined to restore Johannesburg’s soul and build a city its residents can be proud of.
Tomorrow, he will cast his vote for that vision. Join him in making it a reality. Show up and vote RISE Mzansi! 🗳️💙❤️💛💚

Opening up my account to let everyone know that I am also voting for @brettherron and Good
I’ll vote for @brettherron but I’m going to need him to ensure prosecutions happen within the DA regarding Stanfield & the tender corruption. If I’m empowering him it’s to bring justice to the city for those thugs in suits

Sorry but I have to give new leaders a chance. Voting for small parties is not a waste of a vote.

Is Cape Town a K-shaped economy?
While luxury developments and property prices surge on one side, residents in other areas face rising unemployment, skyrocketing transport costs, and a housing crisis. When politicians say the economy is doing well... the honest question is: for whom?
Join Ward 53 and Ward 54 candidate Fiona O'Keane-Cloete as she breaks down why a city that only works for the top of the K isn't a success; it's a gated community with a mayor.

Has any other JHB party outlined their approach in this detail?
RISE Mzansi has a clear Plan that no other party has for mobilizing investment into the City's Public Infrastructure.
We have an over R220-billion infrastructure backlog.
Yes to investment.
No to privatisation of Service Delivery.

Brett Herron raises concerns about Cape Town’s free basic electricity policy, explaining how household usage limits can leave larger families and low-income households without the free electricity they need. He also highlights the outdated income threshold for qualifying households and concerns about electricity tariffs.
GOOD’s commitment to An Affordable City includes reforming free basic electricity rules so eligible households are not penalised for higher usage, particularly where several families share one meter. This also means revisiting outdated income thresholds and challenging unfair electricity tariffs to ease the financial burden on low-income households.
