I think TradingView is threading on a path to self-destruction. A lot of people still choose to use TradingView because of their frictionless user interface. When you’re trying to track something on the chart, the last thing you need is a UI update that forces you to hunt for the date range selector like it’s a hidden easter egg. There are plenty of platforms now offering premium-tier features for free, and they’re likely watching this rollout with a smile. If a power user like you is struggling to navigate the basic timeline, the platform has essentially stopped being a tool and started being an obstacle. Design is supposed to disappear into the background so you can focus on the market, not make you fight the app just to see your data. If they don’t walk back some of these "terrible" layout choices, they’re going to find out the hard way that loyalty only lasts as long as the user experience stays frictionless.

Tether, Circle, and Paxos jumped in to freeze the stolen stablecoins, managing to lock down $11M (about 29% of the total) by this morning. But that 29% only tells half the story. While the stablecoins were being frozen, the attacker was already busy dumping other assets. Emmett Gallic from Arkham noted that the hacker was sweeping old deposit addresses and offloading various memecoins and altcoins. You can't freeze a memecoin like you can a stablecoin because there is no central authority to hit a kill switch. This is exactly why hackers move at lightning speed. They swap stolen stables into assets that are harder to claw back. This is a massive wake-up call. We have seen two major exchange breaches in just one month, and both times, users were left with frozen withdrawals during the chaos. To protect yourself, do not leave your life savings on a centralized exchange. Only keep what you are actively trading there. Always use withdrawal address whitelisting to lock down where your money can go, and keep your long-term holdings in a private wallet where you hold the keys.

Between 06:00 and 15:30 UTC they processed $4.65B going out and $1.01B coming in, so about $3.64B net left, which they put at 2.1% of the $171B they hold. DefiLlama's dashboard counts it higher, at $4.36B If you're moving funds this week, first check that your exact coin and network are in the phase that's live, and that the funds sit in the wallet you're withdrawing from, because those two cause most of the scary errors. Send a small test before the full amount and give the queue a few hours instead of spamming retries. Pulling to self-custody is a fine call, just do it calmly.
