Spurs have essentially walked into TK Maxx and paid the original label price for everything.
Honestly, they should just disband the League Cup, and revamp the FA Cup to a longer bigger competition. Bit like they did with the Premier League, new modern trophy etc.
FA Cup no longer has its magic, which is incredibly sad. Needs its gravitas back.
So… The reigning Premier League champions Arsenal, just got spanked up at Highbury, to Fleetwood, who are just 2 points off relegation in League Two… and highly doubt the media make a big deal out of it.
It’s an absolute Giant Killing shock.
Kinda hope it gets BAD now. Relegation battle.
Not because I want United to get relegated, but maybe it’ll be the catalyst for seismic change the club needs.
It needs a master reset. It’ll force the owners to ship out maybe.
Carrick when he walks into training & all the United players were expecting a new caretaker manager:

WHAT?! He’s not manager of Newcastle?
Why would United need to pay compensation for a sacked manager?
Michael Carrick is expected to be REMOVED only once a deal for his successor has been FINALISED.
#mufc will have to PAY Newcastle around £3 MILLION in compensation if they want to appoint Eddie Howe as their next manager.

Van Persie

Of available options for #mufc, Conte is most logical but no direct approach and suspect club aren’t brave enough to go for him. If Eddie Howe was still at Newcastle, United would not be in for him. Shouldn’t be considered just because he’s available. Ditto Nagelsmann.
You know exactly what you’re doing with this headline.
… it’s also crap English.
Should be “Manchester United’s training ground” plus should be a semi colon, not a comma before however. Or a full stop.
Great journalism there.
Carrick’s still here & next up is a wounded Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Coventry have Sunderland
Spurs against Palace
Forest go to Brentford
There is a small chance United could be in the relegation zone this weekend 🫣
Err, what?
🚨 NEW:
Sources say that the handling of Manchester United’s job cuts by Sir Jim Ratcliffe did NOT sit well with the Glazers, particularly Joel and Avram.
One source says that Ratcliffe’s implementation of the program jarred with Joel’s “sense of decency and old-fashioned values”.
