Very grateful for our head manager @Dane_Flowers14! He helps run our day to day effectively. Always answers the phone, never says no, is solution oriented, and can work ahead to stay busy. Dane is the #1 2027 Grad Asst candidate in the country. Glad Dane is finishing up his undergrad with us and he will be looking for GA positions for 27-28‼️🦅

Nate Steinman @Nathansteinman1 comes to us from Central Michigan! As a former player at the small college level, he provides great on court experience. But his off the floor contributions are through the roof with his never say no attitude and simply just getting things done, which is the best characteristic a coach can have. We’re glad Nate is joining us as a grad assistant and he’s primed to have a great college coaching career. Easily a hirable coach who will be prepared! Welcome to USM Nate!

We have an awesome staff of Grad Assts/Support staff again this year! All are destined for success at Southern Miss and beyond! I’ll highlight each one and they should be on every Head Coach’s radar! Mitch Shettles a New Albany, MS native, former collegiate player, with a military background. Mitch has taken the lead on many projects already, dedicated worker, and a ready to work spirit everyday serving our program. Lucky to have Mitch here at USM. Welcome! @mitchshettles
