I can’t believe we’re two months away from 2027 and the easiest way to save something as a PDF is still to lie to your computer and tell it you’re about to print it.

I think the appeal with TNG was that it was like a simulation of a world where, if you made compelling arguments, people were swayed and it changed the course of the episode. The characters are all competent and fair-minded, and their universe is one that rewards this.
They used to just play shows like this on broadcast tv

I know everyone loves The Measure of Man but I've been convinced for a while now that some of his best acting was in this random episode from season 5, A Matter of Time. That's pure stage dialogue. He was so good. RIP

Literally one of the best lines ever said by an actor in anything.

Me with Actors. (I'm the teacher in this scenario)
I think of email as an advanced form of physical mail, but my students think of it as an archaic form of texting. This difference causes a lot of miscommunication.

Someone once told me that fear of heights is not really the fear of falling but the fear that the irrational urge to throw yourself over the edge will become irresistible. True in my experience
Man crawls through his phobia of heights to get a view of the Atlantic Ocean from the edge of a cliff. 😅

"Ok, take it from 'I'm not ready' when you're ready." The look of confusion I got from the actor was a fantastic way to close out a tech weekend.

One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. The way it’s gunning it with the cartoonish posture, the skeddadle backward like it slipped on a banana peel then the explosion. Could watch this happen for hours
