Due to recent stock shortages and empty shelves in Waitrose, a few of us crossed the border in to Tring to sample their shops. Here’s a brief summary of our experience:
M&S - Ruined by the locals
Tesco - Large amounts of inbreeding.
Co-Op - Don’t bother
Morrison’s - See above

Not sure if anyone can help but in 1989 I leant a VHS tape to the then landlord of The Castle pub. Does anyone know the name of the landlord and still in contact with him?
I leant him that video in good faith that he would return it when finished. He didn’t.

A spot of controversy over on Facebook caused by @sterlingEA Clearly the angry mob don’t frequent Costa or Waitrose. I heard “a real London Vibe” and “London chic” uttered at least five times as I angrily flicked through my copy of the Daily Mail in the Waitrose cafe today.
Interesting fact - Berkhamsted now has more hair dressers/ salons per square mile (combined) than:

Temptation is running extended opening hours today to help the male folk of Berkhamsted with their panic buying. Extra staff are on hand to get shoppers in and out quickly and efficiently. They do not want a repeat of last year where it looked like Black Friday at 5:25pm
