Catching up on the sports news today. Looks like the Colts are having a damn fire sale after getting rid of GM Chris Ballard last week. They are trading away all their best players. Even Jonathon Taylor is on the trade block.

Nothing too fancy tonight. Medium NY strip steak and stuffed bell pepper with broccoli, rice and Colby Jack cheese.

This is the absolute worst week of the worst season I've ever had playing fantasy football. All my starters are either injured or on bye. I've even had to drop a couple bench players and pick up free agents just to fill out my roster every week.

The US Constitution is special. No other civilization has come up w/a better idea. The reason it's the best idea is because it is the first to declare what the govt can't do and declare what the citizens can do.

This coyote has been terrorizing my neighbors chickens and has a den somewhere between my property and theirs in the woods. We already took care of one a few months ago. Now we have another to deal with. I've got the rifle out to cancel that fuckers future. Weird seeing it by itself in the daytime. Normally they operate as a pack and hunt at dusk/night.

Done w/all the chores. Think I'll have a few beers, watch football and listen to music. Tonight is TX metal bands. Soil, Pantera, TX Hippie Coalition, Drowning Pool, Down, etc.

Apparently Delilah didn't get enough belly rubs for her special day yesterday lol. She never gets tired of them.

Funny story from my week of being a boat mechanic. Customer calls and says his Suzuki won't start and he thinks it's a bad battery. OK, I went to the marina w/a new battery from my shop. He got pissed that I was testing the charging system and doing diagnostics vs just hooking up the new battery. Turns out, his battery was fine. He had a bad starter which is a $380 OEM part. I tried telling him that his $50 housecall fee and $50 battery install included basic diagnostics like checking the battery and charging system. He was fine w/all of that until he heard it was $380 for a new starter. All of a sudden I was price gouging him and making up shit diagnostic wise. You can't win w/some people man. I told him good luck and call someone else. I took my new battery w/me since that wasnt the issue. He still paid me the $50 housecall fee and $50 diagnostic fee.

Not the most extravagant dinner, but Creole seasoned fried catfish, mashed potatoes/gravy and black eyed peas/bacon soup will definitely refill the carb/energy meter.
