I endorse a government that safely removes dangerous people from society and reforms them if possible. Davidson County often fails to enforce the law, so surrounding counties must pick up the slack or they will come regularly and act with impunity.
I’m all for less government. Want to cut the entire IRS and make income taxation unconstitutional again? Shit yeah. Defund the police as necessary, but they are necessary AF when connected to Davidson County. The only people molested by authorities there are property owners.

In Wilson County? They run a pretty tight ship there. They usually arrest a lot of people from out of county; maybe they ran out of holding space.
I served in the Army with Joey Wilburn. He’s been sheriff in Macon County, Lafayette, TN, for going on 4 years now. They rehabilitate a lot of their people in lockup when they can.
Hartsville has a private security juvenile detention center they can’t keep staffed at $26 an hour entry. I’ve heard horror stories about those places.
