“This is SO exciting!” The blonde tiptoed behind The Guide and into the crowded building. She’s clad in all pink with a cute mini skirt, her hair teased to the max and clutching her tiny pink purse. “I NEVAH get inside of these kinda fancy clubs! Oh my GAWD, is that some ~
1
~ kinda red chocolate fountain? Geez— this place sure is fancy!” She’s happily chatting while her eyes are scanning the many pale looking faces in the nightclub. “And to think the bouncer is escorting me through the place! My best friend is NEVAH gonna believe me when I tell ~

~ her about this. Do you guys always escort random people through the club?” To think that the strange lady was actually going to give her a tour! Geez— Val sure is lucky! {Starter for @WeSentRavens}

“Ugh— that happens ta me ALL the time! I’d forget my head if it wasn’t screwed on.” Naturally, Val once again believes the nanny without any hesitation. “Let me grab some snacks.” She grabs all she can hold off the kitchen table. “Lead the way.“
“I mean I /could/ explain it… or we could watch it instead. I maaaay have forgotten to get rid of it and haveitupstairsinmybedroom.” Fran side eyes her bestie, waiting to see her reaction to her confession.

“Really?” Val leans in, paying close attention to every word that leaves the nanny’s lips. “Tell me more.” She mindlessly grabs one of the many snacks laid out on the table in front of them. “I’m talkin’ details here.”
“Vaaaaal!” The nanny scoffs, swatting the blonde’s arm lightly. She looks around the room to see if anyone was listening before leaning in towards the other woman and whispering. “It was a work of art! I’ve neva’ seen something so sultry, so romantic!”
‘Oh. My. GAWD.’ She mouths, squealing with excitement as she takes Nandor’s arm and happily goes with him. “Lead the way, Mistah! The name’s Val, by the way.” She giggles as her head rests against his extravagant robes.
"Yes, this economy, huh..." He pulls his hand towards himself as the bouncy blonde reacts, but his panic flashes into a relieved grin before settling into a curious glance. Ah! Humans were so wonderfully desultory! "I could go for a drink." This time he offers her his hand.
“Ah— I see. That sounds reasonable enough, Fran.” The blonde smiles sweetly, completely believing her best pal. “So… What was it like? To… Ya know— see that?”
“In my defense… Brighton was hiding the tapes in his room. I’m the nanny so I /had/ to see what type of trouble he was gettin’ himself into… I’m not no pervert or anything.” She holds a hand out in defense, shaking her head.
“‘Cause I don’t need Mr. Sheffield to fall in love with ME, DUH!” Pfft. No one ever said being a gaslight girlboss is SUCH hard work.
“I dunno… I don’t think Mr. Sheffield’s all that fond of animals. Especially pests.” There was a pause. “Wait a minute! Why don’t /you/ catch a squirrel? It’s your tree!”
1
“But not even for LOVE? I’m tellin’ ya, when Mistah Sheffield sees ya rescue a poor little animal, he’s YOURS!”
“Ya really think I could pull ‘em off?” The nanny grins, posing a couple times for the blonde. “I dunno Val, I don’t think I’d be able to put my fear of squirrels aside for your peanut tree…”
“What?” Val blinks, clearly trying her hardest to understand what was going on. “Let me guess, you’re enjoying the Sheffields’ fancy ‘non-cable television’.” Where would Val even watch a thing like that? “I’ve neva seen it.”
Fran quirks a brow at her friend. “You’re jokin’ me, right?” Chocolate orbs blink a couple times as she silently searches Val’s features, wondering if she was just being facetious. “Haven’t you ever seen… lesbian porn?” The nanny whispers the last two words quietly.
“You WOULD look cute in those little green overalls. And I bet when Mistah Sheffield sees ya rescue a squirrel, he’ll think it’s the cutest thing in the world. I hear guys LOVE charities, afta all.”
“It was /horrible/.” The nanny happily accepts the hug, enjoying the closeness a moment before Val pulls away. “Don’t look at me. What do I look like? Animal control?”
“Fine.” She waves Fran off. “So, back to the ‘anatomically impossible’ part…” Val looks at her with a puzzled look, waiting for her pal to explain why she brought it up.
Well don’t call her yet! We’ve got twenty years, AT LEAST.

Val might not be the smartest, but the second she eyes the nanny’s teased hair she understands. She gives Fran a look of sympathy. “That sounds SO traumatic, Fran.” One very dramatic hug later, she pulls back. “Where are we eva gonna find anotha squirrel?”
“Maybe if you get TWO squirrels then they’ll fight each other for the peanut and leave your tree alone? But you betta be careful, don’t let them mistake your hair for their nest or they might turn into rabbits if ya know what I mean.” She may be speaking from experience…
Pfft— I know THAT! It’s, like, anatomically impossible or somethin’. … Right? Oh my GAWD, I forgot about the double burial plots. I have to call Ma. She’s gonna FREAK.
Well we’re not gonna have sex or anything… don’t get it twisted. Just… a platonic marriage. For the tax benefits. And the company. And the double burial plots! The honeymoon could just be like a fun little friend-cation. I say Bali… or Greece!
“I’ll do whateva it takes to get them to stop eating my peanut tree. Even if it means threatening them with a bath!”
I think you mean squirrel deterrent. Unless your goal is to cleanse the poor animal to death.
Well— sure, Fran! I’ll marry ya if we don’t find a guy by that time. Where should we go to for the honeymoon? I hear it’s better to book these things early.
I mean, sure. It’s the 90s. People are much more open minded than they used ‘ta be.
