Unpopular opinion 🇵🇾🇨🇴🇦🇷… If you prefer Tier 2 or tier 3 latam cities There is NOWHERE that you should decide to base up Besides… 📍Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia 🇧🇴 Can live like a king for $1500/m. Amazing nature close to the city. Abundant access to modern apartments And… Arguably, the best restaurant/cafe scene among tier b/c cities No brainer.

Look at Cochabamba, can it get any better!? 🌞🩵
Replying to @BetterLifeBo
The numbers back you up on Cochabamba. Average highs sit in the mid-20s °C every month, with only about a 3°C swing all year. Santa Cruz swings about 6°C, Asunción about 10°C, peaking near 33°C in January. Worth packing a jacket for crisp June–July nights though.

One of the MAIN reasons that I left Paraguay 🇵🇾 after 3 years For Bolivia. The SHEER variety of affordable weekend trips in Bolivia 🇧🇴 Example: Bolivia has a wine region. Colonial city. Wild tourist region in La Paz. And... A city of eternal spring in Cochabamba All… A $100-$140 roundtrip away from Santa Cruz (Plus many great weekend trips within driving distance from Santa Cruz) While... Paraguay still has a special place in my heart. It couldn't satisfy that need for me And.. When I weighed the pros & cons It generally couldn’t compete with the lifestyle in Bolivia (for my criteria).

Something most people DON’T know about 📍Bolivia 🇧🇴 It is one of the SAFEST countries in Latin America. And… Has ranked as the country with the 3-4th LEAST homicides per 100k people in latam for each of the past 5 years. Safe. Affordable Still... Not for everyone. But: A place that I’m very happy to call home.

The CRAZIEST thing about 📍Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia 🇧🇴 Is the pricing. Let me give a few examples: -Steak + sides + bottle of wine at high end resto = $20-25 -Highest End Gym = $36/month -Weekday round of Golf at Country Club = $25 for 18 holes -Cocktail at high-end end rooftop bar = $6 Truly… Nowhere else like it in latam.

BOLIVIA SUCKS!!! Is what many people say online. But…. Here’s the truth about the country of Bolivia: -Some of latam’s best nature -Amazing wine -Very versatile country (colonial city, modern Santa cruz, wine haven of Tarija) -Easily latam’s most affordable prices And… Some of the most hard working people that you will ever meet. Now… Is it a total utopic paradise? Absolutely not But… It is 100x better than people say online And Myself + my clients love it here.

Starlink in Bolivia! ❤️🇧🇴
Bolivian President says Starlink will make information “open to everyone,” with a connection even “in the deepest ravine,” as 4,700 antennas go to schools nationwide Rodrigo Paz (President): “…it’s the same kind of network we are building through this system of Starlink antennas, to create a network of information and communication and to decentralize the power that some hold when only a few keep the information. Now information will be open to everyone.” “It’s more than 4,000 antennas, 4,700 antennas if I’m not mistaken, nationwide for every department, but especially for rural municipalities, because you don’t only need a road to communicate, you need information to make decisions...” "...It doesn't matter where in the country you are, in the deepest ravine, you'll have a connection there. It's not one satellite, it's many satellites, thousands of satellites that are going to serve Bolivia."

The part no brochure can sell you: the people. Kind, patient and incredibly honest. 90% sounds about right to us. The other 10% are busy explaining why the collas are the worst. Or the cambas, depending on who you ask.😄 Pro tip: it's a game with no winners. Both are lovely, in their own way. We love Bolivians just the way they are. 🇧🇴❤️
What strikes me the most about Bolivians, both with the friends I had before visiting it and with the people I talked to when visiting La Paz, is how friendly and kind most of them are. There are bad apples, obviously, but I'd say 90% of people I met were incredibly nice. ❤️

Something FEW people mention about living in 📍Bolivia 🇧🇴 How fast the country allows you to accelerate your retirement. You literally… Can make 10k per month in Bolivia & save close to 100k per year While…. -Working USA time zone -Golfing daily -Having a luxury apartment And… -Eating at the highest end restaurants non-stop There is Nowhere else in the world that has the low prices of Bolivia While… Being on USA time zone Such an underrated country to live in.
