I tried making a separate account to keep my interests separated, but honestly I don't have the mental energy or time to make that work right now. So, apologies in advance for bookish and non gaming content on this account!
If you need something to listen to, this is an excellent choice!
In case you didn't know, the entire Book of Astea is available in one audio boxset on Audible.

Beautiful day to be outside for work, plus a little down time to get some reading done in between the action.
Current read: Shroud Steel for Bastard Land by @joelee__
Just got the email from Amazon about my #ControlResonant game, it won't be delivered until October 28th 😭
I'm so excited for this game and having to keep waiting is torture!!

This is definitely on my list of books to read! Now that I'm currently playing through Silent Hill 2, I can't wait to see the influence of the game and be able to appreciate it.
The greatest compliments readers had told me was how VIGIL reminded them of Silent Hill. How experiencing Silent Hill for the first time reminded them of my book. That they could see the strong influences in my story.
VIGIL was written as my love letter to the horror genre. It was also designed to be like a story within a Silent Hill universe, but not bearing the name of the IP.
It is also a very personal story to me not only as an author, but as a person. It tackles heavy themes of depression, self-loathing, addiction, faith in God, and loneliness (to name a few).
To those of you who read the story, my deepest thanks to you. For those of you curious, I invite you to check it out for yourself. See what all the fuss is about.
VIGIL is now available on Amazon. Linktree in my bio.
I thought the apartments were a little creepy but I have a feeling this next part is about to get so much worse. Of course we have to explore the creepy abandoned hospital...

The apartments in #SilentHill2 definitely didn't disappoint. Going from bright open areas to a more claustrophobic atmosphere with dark areas only lit with the flashlight made for an incredible creepy atmosphere and experience. Still not a fan of the quiet though...
