Love Island and the concerns about psychological distress that won’t go away just waiting for @thewhitmore & @IainDoesJokes to distance themselves from this show and not before time! theguardian.com/tv-and-radio…

I feel sorry for that Professor who lost his job for shagging during the lockdown. He should've just said he was worried his penis had stopped working and he wanted to double check.

I’m embarrassed beyond belief at this Downing St press conference. Johnson is blustering - not answering questions, not taking follow ups. He flustered because he’s trying to defend the indefensible. He’s a disgrace.

Cummings clearly been in Downing Street all afternoon telling @BorisJohnson what to do. We are living in a state run by an unelected political adviser who has made the PM his puppet & operates above the law. Really. Quite. Frightening – at Edinburgh, Scotland

The UK Civil Service has deleted their tweet about Boris Johnson’s Dominic Cummings press conference.
Not to worry though, the BBC has broadcast the message to millions of people on BBC One ensuring it cannot be missed!

If anything does for Cummings, it will be the stories of other people's endurance. The unattended funerals. The unvisited parents. The struggles to look after our kids while we were sick. Every family in the land has paid a price. And he sees it all as being somehow beneath him.

I was a member of the Westminster Parliamentary Press Lobby / Press Gallery for 30 years. The No 10 statement on Dominic Cummings followed by an orchestrated campaign of support from ministers is one of the most shameful things I have ever seen from any government.

A child, Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, died without his family and was buried without his family because of official restrictions. So no thanks, I don’t want to hear any bullshit “interpretation” of those self-same restrictions from anyone, anywhere to do with politics

During this lockdown, my 8 yr old daughter has been undergoing treatment for cancer. There were times when I could not be in hospital to hold her hand during treatment. I wanted to ‘care for my child as a father’ too. Dominic Cummings can go fuck himself.

To drop the snark for a moment, what’s extraordinary is that the UK govt would willingly undermine the vital public health messaging in the midsts of a pandemic which has killed 55,000 people and rising - just to save one wretched man’s job.

I've been in isolation for 67 days in Kent. I could have driven 158 miles to my house in Norfolk, where in theory I would be safer. I didn't, because the rules apply to me too. The arrogance of "I don't care how it looks" is what riles me. 'Don't do as I do' is rarely a good look

We are calling for ‘alert’ volunteers to join our VirusWatch Scheme here in Brexit-on-Sea. You will be equipped with a free pair of binoculars to help spot the virus, a net to catch it with and a bag to put it in. #stayalert

if you’re angry about the fact that JustGiving has pocketed £308,000 from Colonel Tom Moore's £32 million fundraising campaign for NHS staff then just wait until you realise that it should have been your taxes funding the NHS and not a 100yr old man walking around his garden

This is outstanding!🥰

This photo was down to months of patience & field craft, & was totally worth the wait! Well done Dave!🦡
