THE DEVILS is a deeply upsetting film but a thought provoking look at abuse of powers in religion, politics, and relationships. A film with such strong craft that I found myself engrossed from beginning to end. It’s so important for films like this to exist. 10/10.

I went into THE DEVILS completely blind and having never seen it. I walked out witnessing one of the greatest films of all time. A theatrical experience I’ll never forget.

Derek Jarmen’s sets are the biggest winner of the new restoration. I’ve seen this movie before a couple of times, but seeing this new transfer on the big screen I almost said “Oh my god” out loud a couple of times when it cut to an establishing shot of the sets.
