Solo Leveling may be leveling up again. A new report claims that the hit anime franchise is receiving a new anime film titled Solo Leveling -Beyond the System-, with A-1 Pictures continuing as the animation studio and a planned 2027 premiere in Japan. However, the exact title and film details have not yet been confirmed on the official Solo Leveling anime website, so fans should treat the news carefully for now. A-1 Pictures is already closely tied to the franchise as the studio behind the Solo Leveling anime adaptation. The official anime staff includes Shunsuke Nakashige as director, Noboru Kimura on series composition, Tomoko Sudo as character designer and Hiroyuki Sawano composing the music. The timing of the report has also fueled speculation because A-1 Pictures has an Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2026 on July 3, where the studio is presenting GROW UP SHOW -Sunflower Circus- and discussing upcoming titles. However, the Anime Expo schedule itself has not specifically confirmed a new Solo Leveling movie announcement. Even if Beyond the System remains unconfirmed, the franchise’s future is clearly still active. Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini recently said there was “nothing to announce” yet, but added that the creators are actively working on the next Solo Leveling project and that an announcement could hopefully come soon. The franchise has already had one theatrical release with Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, which combined a Season 1 recap with an early preview of Season 2’s first two episodes. Because of that, fans believe another movie before the next major anime installment is possible. If the reported title Beyond the System is real, it could point toward Sung Jinwoo moving deeper into the mysteries behind the System, his growth as the Shadow Monarch and the larger conflict involving the Monarchs and Rulers. For now, Solo Leveling -Beyond the System- sounds like an exciting possible next step, but official confirmation is still needed. Whether the next project is a movie, Season 3 or both, Sung Jinwoo’s story is far from over. #SoloLeveling #SungJinwoo #AnimeNews #A1Pictures #AnimeMovie
