This Halloween, keep the frights on the front porch - not on the roads.
To report suspected impaired driving or a collision involving injuries requiring emergency response, call 9-1-1.
For minor accidents with no injuries, report directly to ICBC. #911BC

We are SO fortunate to have an Impaired Driving Unit at #SPS. I hear them out there all the time and they are always helpful to patrol members. With how big Surrey is; they are essential for helping keep these drivers from seriously harming or killing themselves, or others. #PublicSafety🚨
We’re proud of SPS’s Impaired Driving Unit (IDU) for receiving the 2025 Outstanding Traffic Team Effort Award from the BC Association of Chiefs of Police Traffic Safety Committee. In the unit's first full year of operation in 2025, IDU achieved substantial increases in impaired driving enforcement compared to 2024. Our Impaired Driving Unit strategically targets and removes impaired drivers from the road to make Surrey's streets safer.
Guess what day it is for our team?
We're at our outdoor range for annual qualifications. Thanks to Mother Nature, for the awesome weather! Let's go! #SPSTraining #PistolQuals👮🏽♀️

What's the spookiest jump scare this Halloween? Accidentally calling 9-1-1😱
Help us keep 9-1-1 lines free for emergencies only by storing your cellphone securely.
If you do call 9-1-1 by mistake, don't hang up. Stay on the line and let the call taker know you’re safe. #911BC
