Nothing Behind
"And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came." - Genesis 12:5 KJV
When God called Abram to leave everything behind, his country and his kin, it must’ve been very difficult. Abram was already comfortable and successful in Haran, he could have just decided to stay. But despite the troubles and dangers of totally moving to a new land, Abram still obeyed God and left everything behind. But sadly, he took his nephew Lot with Him even though God commanded him to leave all his relatives behind. As mentioned in our previous study, his partial obedience led to unnecessary complications. But unlike his father Terah, Abram completed the journey to Canaan, the land promised by God. He may have had bumps on the road due to some foolish decisions but despite that, Abram remained faithful to what God had called him to do. He willingly left nothing behind that could pull him back to Haran, "just in case" things didn't work out in Canaan.
Beloved, often we hesitate to fully step out in faith as He calls us to leave or move out from something, even if it seems risky or difficult. It could be a stubborn sin issue, an ungodly relationship, a shady business transaction, a bad habit, or the call to leave something behind to follow God's call. We come up with backup plans, undue attachment to our past, or we create a safety net in case obedience feels like it's too much to handle. But we must remember that in faith, there is no turning back as we move forward. We must trust God with everything, our relationships, our possessions, our dreams, and our security. May we not hold on to things that God has called us to leave behind.
Prayer point: Lord, help us to fully trust You and give us the will to leave behind anything that keeps us from fully obeying You. May we always follow You wholeheartedly, knowing that You know what is better for us. In Jesus name. Amen.
If Brighton wins their games then they'll go 2nd position whilst City will drop to 3rd position.
Funny
Manchester city wants to follow in the footsteps of their United brothers.
Lossing 3 straight games is something that needs to be worried about.
They said Arsenal is playing boring football but they're 6 points clear on the premier league table.
Champions are champions
I don't want to assume Manchester city is going to lose 3 games in a row.
They better equalize and draw this game than lose
Arsenal winning games with one goal is not an option because we need enough goal difference to win the league sometimes.
All the same the 3 points is well deserving.
Why are men so concerned about women's body count?
Just thinking out loud. Why will a man who has been running marathon with different women be concerned about a woman who has done same with women.
Something is not just adding up.
This analysis doesn't hold water, the north will vote for him, as usual they'll use religion and secondly they're just like dogs when you throw bones to them you become the master.
Tinubu will use Noddles in the north and will get the desired votes.
No hope in Northern Nigeria?
For him to win, he is playing the Middle Belt card.
Politics is deep. He doesn't seem interested in working directly with Northern governors. Remember he is still holding their son (El-rufai)
Instead, he appears to be banking on votes from the North Central region through their kings, chiefs and governors.
The North Central geopolitical zone consists of:
1. Benue
2. Kogi
3. Kwara
4. Nasarawa
5. Niger
6. Plateau
7. Federal Capital Territory (Abuja)

You have to really act foolish to defend this @OfficialAPCNg government.
Imagine so called pastors like @BwalaDaniel and @renoomokri defending the same government they called names.
The devil is not only strong and powerful but also a master strategist.
Make of this info what you want to.
Maybe the incident happened in the early 2020s which can be possible but in this APC regime not possible
