They absolutely should. They recently gave the go ahead for a new oil field in the Falklands. No outrage from any of the usual suspects. The ‘climate crisis’ only seems to affect the UK.

The Sea Lion field has reserves of 1.7 billion barrels of oil with 900 million recoverable.
Rosebank has just 300-500 million.

Funny how Pete never said a word on the Falklands drilling recently approved by Labour.
Rosebank is on a different scale of environmental havoc compared to Jackdaw and would drive a coach and horses through our climate commitments and unleash 250 million tonnes of CO2 on an already burning planet. It has to be rejected.
