π¨ βEnzo Fernandezβ on why Messi didnβt receive the same emotional farewell from his teammates that Cristiano Ronaldo received from Portugal:
π£οΈEnzo Fernandez:
βHonestly, I think people already know the answer. They just donβt want to accept it.
When Cristiano Ronaldoβs retirement was announced, I watched the entire Portugal squad come together to celebrate him.
Players were posting pictures, writing emotional messages and showing the world how much they loved and respected him.
But when Lionel Messiβs retirement was announced, suddenly everybody expected Argentina players to behave the same way.
Why?
I personally donβt understand it.
And let me say something that will probably make Messi fans angry.
I donβt think Lionel is the kind of person people should constantly be forced to celebrate.
Yes, he is one of the greatest footballers in history.
Yes, he has scored incredible goals and won important trophies for Argentina.
But football is bigger than individual achievements.
Sometimes I feel Messiβs ego is bigger than his understanding of what a team is supposed to represent.
Everything has to be about him.
His records.
His achievements.
His recognition.
His position as the greatest.
And honestly, that is something I have never liked.
Look at Cristiano Ronaldo ππ
He doesnβt need everybody around him to constantly remind the world that he is special.
He has built his legacy through hard work, leadership, discipline and an unmatched mentality.
People celebrate him because they genuinely respect what he represents.
You cannot force genuine affection.
And just because somebody has won trophies for a national team doesnβt automatically mean every teammate shares the same personal admiration for him.
Being Argentinaβs greatest player doesnβt automatically make you Argentinaβs greatest teammate.
And I think thatβs something his fans will never understand.β

Your exercise technique matters more than the number written on a dumbbell. ποΈ
A controlled movement helps you understand which muscles you're working.
Avoid rushing through repetitions just to finish your set.
Learn the correct range of motion, maintain a comfortable posture and give yourself enough recovery.
Good training is about building knowledge alongside strength. π

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeriaβs states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the β¦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
