My entries in the 2026 Atlanta Con, 1967 Lola Aston Martin, 1957 & 1956 Lancia Ferraris, 1963 Corvette Grand Sport, and the two FORD GTs MK1.
Just completed the 1966 FORD "J" Car, the 1/24 kit by MPC from 1966, the fit is a challenge but worth it!
My 1960 FERRARI TR60', winner of the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans, the superb Renaissance resin kit out of the box.
Had a great time at the IPMS Marietta show, visited with lot's of my modeling friends / club members and won 2nd place in open wheel competition with my Model Factory Hiro 1/20 1957 Lancia FERRARI 801, lost first to an awesome 1/12 Tamiya Tyrrell.
My diorama of the 1955 Merecedes garage at the 1955 Le Mans, 300SLRs # 19 & 20 and the Uhlenhaut Coupe, used a modified Carrera garage and HRM and Revell of Germany kits.
Just completed the Profil 1957 Maserati 450S Le Mans "Costin Coupe", driven by Stirling Moss and Harry Schell, Moss wanted an aerodynamic 450S to blow off the opposition at Le Mans, sadly the bodywork was badly executed by Zagato in a rush, it retired after 3 hours!
The completed 1967 Lola Aston Martin of John Surtees / David Hobbs raced at Le Mans, the Tamiya 1/12 Lola T70 kit with the BBK transkit.
In 1957 Carroll Shelby was John Edgar's, a California millionaire who ran a Racing Team of Italian exotic cars, lead driver in this Maserati 450S. Edgar paid $20,000, ($220,000) today in 1957 to Maserati for the car and paid Shelby $25,000 a year to drive for him.

The Atlanta IPMS Modelcon yesterday was very well attended and had some great vendors, I was very pleased that my 1/20 Lancia FERRARI D-50a from 1956 won 1st place in open wheel competition!, here it is with my other entries.
